This looks great, but I'm wondering about this vs the Fly Rack for flights and baggage tossers. This looks like a more convenient solution for general travel, but I question its ruggedness for flying. Is there a warranty on that?

How deep is the laptop cover? Would it fit a Cymatic lp-16 instead?

Hey Phil, good question! The lid is only about two inches deep, so I doubt it will fit the Cymatic. The LP16 is shaped very similar to a mixer, so you may look at a rack case with a top slot for a mixer and then use something like this rack shelf: www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/RSU1000--on-stage-stands-rsu1000-adjustable-top-mount-rack-shelf Should get the job done for you!
