This is a fully 3D printable RC snowmobile. I have been designing and tweaking it for a long time now and I think it's time to start sharing how it is going.
This was designed from the very beginning with easy assembly and minimal purchased parts as the goal. I think I have accomplished that goal. Everything is printed except for: Electronics, screws, bearings, and shocks. It can be printed on a print bed 200mm x 200 mm or larger. Most items do not need any supports but there are a few that will need some.

Many of the parts of my design are inspired from other snowmobile projects that I have seen. I have reached out to those that some of my work might resemble. If you feel something looks similar to your work and you did not receive a message from me please reach out to me. Nothing in my design is a modified version of others work, All of it was hand made by me, but some may still resemble that of images I used for reference.
Disclaimer: Due to printer abilities being different and always changing, and the nature of an off road vehicle there is a good chance you will break parts. Luckily they should be easy to reprint and fix rather quickly. I will do my best to provide support through discord and if files are found in need up improvement I will do my best to improve and then include for free for those who have purchased the snowmobile. I give no guarantee that it will print perfect on your machine or that things will not break when you send the sled flying off a cliff.

just turned 18 and considering buying ur files... im also looking into selling my RMK. any advice on how to sell my rc snowmobile like you did?

Hardest part is getting good advertising. Also be sure to have good instructions. My build videos were helpful, but I still got hundreds of questions and many people wanted written instructions. And be ready for some people to complain just for the sake of complaining. MyMiniFactory has been working great for me and I don’t have to worry about servers or payment as it’s all done through the website. Good luck. I’m not sure what you mean... the SkeeRide is based off of the freeride. I don’t plan to make any sled to be an exact copy of a real world sled as there could be legal issues from copying a design.

Any idea what top speed your getting? And on what motor kV? Thanks

I’m not sure really. I haven’t found a big enough space to hit top speed with the green one yet, it’s 3800kv sensored. The blue one is 3000kv unsensored but still hard to have enough room for top speed. Both running 3s lipo. Just put a 2200kv in the pink sled and I like it a lot. It’s not as fast but has a ton of torque so it’s really fun to drive. I could go to a 4s lipo to get back some speed if needed.

Depends on your printer and how often you have time to set things up. Some can get it all done in a week, others 2-3 weeks. The average seems to be 2 weeks when they’re focused on getting it done.

looks good. At the moment I am also printing it. Track and track sledge is done gears are done. having more or less the same colors. black track, blue sledge, hood wil be blue. footrails and other details in grey. are you also try to put the rider on? will make it less stable but much more real to see I guess.
