I love these videos so much, but I get sad with his choice to paint some of these restorations. He does such a fantastic job in cleaning them, restoring them, and then he slathers them in garish paint that covers up the personality and all of his hard work and kills the uniqueness of the pieces 😭😭😭 Not always of course, but definitely sometimes.

I know that a lot of these banks are reproductions but I think it is great that you are willing to make them better. I make metal art and the rich people like rust. My sales guy only sells unpainted. That way they can paint if they want or leave it rust. I love the personal touch that you give things. Keep up the good work.

Cool bank, nice refinement, always found cast iron works too rough to be done after casting. Nice paint job, bet it would look pretty nice with a black paint wash with that surface detail.
