wolfee101 Phew Wolfee, you were smack bang in the Holyhead Race, it's usually always rough there, on all but the calmest of days. Penrhyn Mawr is also another notorious spot, just further South-West, I think attempting that one in a Yacht would be fatal, for the Yacht. I've observed the Holyhead Race a number of times from the cliffs above, it seems to track further out on a Spring tide.

carrick16100 As Brucey would say - "Didn't he do well?" "Good game, good game" ha ha. I too thought I was going in the briny, and it would have been "Bye bye camera" I tried to pass upstream of the swirly bit, but as usual mis-judged the power of the tide, it is VERY deceptive, it seems to get me every time.

great vid. I remember getting a boat trip there years ago from Cemaes Bay and a tour of the lighthouse.

Which GoPro do you use?
@GBPaddling9 жыл бұрын
+luca67g The Hero 2, the 3's and 4's had a lot of issues at the time of my purchase, so I opted for the 2, and have been happy with it. The 3's and 4's are ultimately better, but take MICRO SD cards, and they HAVE to be class 10. My Hero 2 seems to work best on cheap and cheerful Kingston class 4 SD cards.

Thank you. I've the Hero 2 and the Hero 3 black. I was curious to know which one you used. With the 2 sometimes I've problem of foggy in (I mean "condensa" in italian, I don't know the translation in english).

+luca67g Condensation, Luca. Don't worry, your English is WAY better than my Italian, you're doing ok. The other thing I failed to mention, is that I have it in the GoPro Underwater housing, which has a built in Polarising filter. This adds to the quality I think.
