I have been to several of the islands mentioned here and have lived in Barbados, and would concur for the most part. My only problem with the list is the Dominican Republic as #2. That is insane! This island absolutely sucks compared to the rest that I have visited!!

Well, the Dominan Republic is affordable and safer overall. Better infrastructure and economic growth compared to the others. Easy access from North America and Europe. More diverse in general, from Punta Cana to Santo Domingo to the North Coast.
