Good morning Gaynor, nice to have you here for breakfast 😊 l do think its a privilege to get to see inside an artists sketch book. I have books full of what some folk would perceive as rubbish. Its so encouraging to see you scribble and scratch and print and paint where you are letting go of ideas. They are places of practice....... Im looking forward to seeing the new look cabin.....Thank you for your bright and cheery inspiration Alioban ❤🐕xx

Hello Gaynor, what a great example of how to use and have fun in a sketchbook! It doesn’t have to be perfection and should be for experimenting in..I know some people are guilty of not wanting to spoil a lovely new sketchbook but you just have to go for it!I think it’s great when you look back at a page and something pops out!Just like your green figure on the canvas.I. immediately saw one of the Beatles crossing Abbey Road lol!Wonderfull figures, loving watching you create these!Oh,please carry on with Your French lessons on here,I don’t speak a word of French so it all sounds great to me!😁Have a fab creative week!❤

Thanks for the sharing and inspiration once again, Gaynor. Drawing in general is so difficult for me. And figures and faces are absolutely scary.... at least when I get done with them 😂 all stemming from memories of early school days and not being good enough. So new resolution: timer out and contour drawing practice. Somewhere I have a book about drawing with the left side of the brain... must dig it out too. Have a lovely painty week working towards your exhibition, Gaynor. All good stuff as always x

Been having an amazing time with alcohol ink on paper. The fact that it dryes so quickly and then what ... well, it's more fun when add ons create the unknown shapes. Still want to venture more into adding texiles. Also, I use different strings with paint pulling into shapes. The next self teaching will B using clay to make shapes. There's fun saving and using tea bags... great little papers to create with. Old books become nice collage pages with alittle gesso ! I wear trifocals, that way no changing glasses to the different distances for vision. Stay happy. Ann, Florida fan

OCD rules when it comes to my pencils etc. I haunt charity shops for tin pencil cases, so my pens in one, pencil crayons in another, Supracolour in another. Etc

Hi Gaynor What is the name of the soft creamy green you used from the tube on the tall canvas? It's funny to see you putting on warmer clothes as we down here are taking them off as it warms up, and up!
