Here's my first sketchbook tour! (as promised ;)
Very rambly, I was clearly out of it cause I couldn't remember the timeline, and didn't even REALIZE that I dated some of the pages! Dats mee haha.
Anyway, I hope yall gathered something useful and/or entertaining from this lengthy video. Please tell me what you think in the comments! And make sure you sub if you want to see more of my videos! I'm gonna try to upload regularly once or twice a week.

Thank you for sharing your sketchbooks! When you showed the 100 heads challenge pieces I audibly (and alone in my room haha) said ‘wow i love their style!’ There’s something really. Appealing about the way you use inks and the way you draw facial features !

I love each and every page of your sketchbook. It is literally looking at organized chaos and like that first page makes me wonder how you didn't go crazy with the way it was layered. I would have been so distracted by that. I love those Muji pens, but never really considered using the prismacolor marker to make them bleed like that. I've used Tombow Dualbrush for that kind of affect, but I'll give the Prismacolor a shot. I feel like W&N's pigment marker may work really well with it too, since it is some kind of ink based pigment. As you mentioned, it is fun to experiment with how tools interact with each other. I know you talked about in another video about not really making "happy" accidents, but this experimenting truly is the happy kind. I tend to favor mixed media pads over sketchbooks because of this, because I find I will destroy the sheets when they're too thin. I'm amazed how you're able to keep your muji pads so clean, when the paper is fairly light. I'm a fan of Strathmore's Mixed Media pads. If you ever wanted to utilize your sketchbook even further, I would suggest gesso'ing the backside of sketches. That way you eliminate the bleed through. I also sometimes do that when I'm doing watercolors/gouache (on mixed media, granted) just so I don't risk bleeding through the page. I'm way too heavy handed with my supplies. But yeah, sorry for rambling about art supplies. I work with a ton of them and are constantly experimenting, so I recognize a lot of stuff just by a glance. I noticed you really like Muji supplies, but I don't blame you. They're pretty inexpensive and quite lovely. I'll have to use them more myself, since I've literally mostly used them for journaling/note taking. Anyway, I do hope to see more sketchbook runs like this and I'm glad you're posting more YT videos. I also follow you on IG, but I do prefer seeing video over just pictures. I love process work and hearing about the way artists' go about creating work. ♥

Those gothic Sailor Moon stickers are everything, I need them in my life!! The drawings of that girl, I really really loved those sketches, it's always nice to see those kind of sketches, really makes you appreciate how much an artist has practiced to get where they are! These sketchbooks were fun to look at, and I love listening to you talk us through them, and the different stories behind them! Your OC's are Stunning! I hope we get to see more of them soon! I loooove your oc's. I hope you'll find the inspiration to write your comic. As for scripting... I haven't made a comic so I'm not entirely sure how to go about scripting that but I am a writer for books and visual novels and I script chapters for those. Do you have an email adress or something? Maybe I can send you a few tips on how I go about scripting that? Also I was very inspired by your first page of the 100 heads drawing which gave me a boost and now I finished head 40 to 50 which I was putting off so thanks! Also when you said the thing about pen I realised it's my biggest fear to draw with pen in my sketchbook and then I challenged myself to do it anyway and I have learned sooooo much in like 2 days. Thank you! (Yes, I took 2 days to finish this video because I kept getting inspired hahha)
