I'm actually more confused by saying you started it 12/21 but there's art in there from 10/21? When do you consider to have "started" a sketchbook? Sorry, I'm trying not to sound snarky but it's not working! I'm just curious! Love your art!

@@AnnieNoodle thanks for watching. Since you asked - if you’d like a full explanation here it is: I began the sketches in October on my trip. I did not work in that sketchbook after. In December 21’ I filled in and designed the front cover and continued the rest. Hope this answers your concern. Thanks for your support

I really like watching sketchbook reviews for the fact that I'm fairly new at doing art and different styles and get stuck on what to do and these remind me that it dosen't matter what's in the book as long as you put something in and not worry about it. I have felt like I've been in an art slump for the past 6ish months. I've barely created and recently started a new job... I've just been struggling to balance my energy and feel creative. I would often come to youtube in the past to help out with that but nothing was really lighting me up. Then I saw your video of your new art space and I thought " wow... that is the dream!" and I got excited again. I got excited at the possibilities! I started to dream my dream again. And I felt the urge to draw for the first time in weeks. And now this video has truly inspired me further. The reminder to follow my intuition as I create. The challenges and work to learn further and improve your skill. The sticker and different mediums, idk it reminded me why I love creating and art. It gave me the feeling that I love. So anyway, I am just grateful to you because art is very important to me and it feels like you've helped me out. You're illustrations were so fun btw :) They made me smile. Especially Tilda

When I watch your videos I have to squash down the feeling that I could never paint as well as you. Then, I remember how you encourage to allow oneself to fail in an attempt while learning. Then, I'll sit down and paint my heart out in my own style and look in surprise that I really like what I just finished. Thank you for reminding us that we are artist no matter our skill.

I’m an elementary librarian, and I’ve shared your channel with several of my students who cart their own sketchbooks around and check out any drawing book they can get their hands on.
