It's so nice to see someone else just sketching/practicing in their sketchbook! A lot of artists have sketchbooks full of super rendered/time intensive art/spreads and it made me feel a little self conscious about my 90% sketches 10% barely colored art filled sketchbook haha. Your sketchbook is so lovely, it feels very homey and cozy if that makes sense. It's refreshing to see a sketchbook with a bunch of self indulgent personal doodles and drawings (you and your boyfriend are so cute) as well as thumbnails and more finished pieces. I'm starting a new sketchbook soon, so this was great motivation. Keep being awesome :D

you talked about the gladiolus/sword lilies a lot, and since you mentioned that you were contemplating using them for a cowboy painting, i thought i'd mention that in the language of flowers, the sword lily symbolizes generosity, infatuation, strength, integrity, and vibrancy! they are a beautiful flower, and they work wonderfully for symbolic paintings

In sweden that sketchbook is like 16 dollars, but i stick to one size smaller so a bit cheaper. Paper works great for markers, doesent really bleed through, love it

Your sketchbook is so inpiridng! I love cominga across sketchbook tour videos the moment i open my sketchbook to draw Xdd Also holy moly $21 for this sketchbook! I have 3 of those, one A4 and two A5. The big one was like $8-9 and the small $6? I adore them and yesterday i even managed to get one with white paper. Why are they so expenisive? IG being from different continents got something to do with it but still! If it was that expensive here i would never have gotten it!

i love your style so much I wish I could be that flowy with my sketches and I wish I had the desire to paint more cause I really love it but I don't find the inspiration ever.
