hello! that rol of yellow paper in my country we called it : papel mantequilla ( butter paper) and its not to draw or make a finish piece, is more like to draw on top of other drawing and make corrections and see how it would look the piece with that. my teachers use it to correct our homework without damaging the real piece ( i study architecture) , so i guess u can use it for that (?) i know im late, so maybe someone else give you more brilliant ideas, but also i want to say that i really love your work and you inspire me everyday , greetings from Chile!

My dad used to use it, he’s an architect, but switched over to working digitally a few years ago. So it’s probably used for that! :-)

When I dry paint on my brushes by mistake I just use a diluted rubbing alcohol and soak it overnight and it always takes everything off of the bristles and makes them really soft again

Hey the role of paper is just for tracing some detail, like to get to a mirror effects for example, you can trace on top of it and then transfer your drawing to another paper or another corner of the same paper....

I work part-time at Target, in the shipping department, and we have very expensive water tape dispensers. They. Are. Amazinggg!! You program it to spit out different sizes, so all you have to do is press one button and you get the perfect size every time. I've been saving up for one (it's like $1200 on Amazon) because it is so handy 😍😍 and makes packing a breeze

Hey Leigh, not sure if anyone has said this, but drafting film (which is what i am sure you just bought) actually works REALLY well with coloured pencils, some artists do amazing realistic pet portraits with it! And then they just mount it to a backboard because it is so thin! Just thought id let you know (if you even see this) :D ps- Love your vlogs!!

Do you ever have a problem with Sticker Mule stickers having dents? I stopped ordering from them because they would arrive to me COVERED in little dot dents from them not dusting all the dust off and it pressing in transit. When I asked them about it, they told me it was a 1% error. But it happened EVERY. TIME. I. ORDERED. I'm hoping their quality has gotten better, but I have heard from others that this happens to them too. :/

I would love to sketch at museums more but have a hard time paring down which art supplies to bring. Do you have go to supplies that you pack for those types of outings?

Not really! I always pick something different. But some museums only allow certain types media which you can usually find online. That helps me pick

hihi most funny unbagging video I have ever seen ;P I use that kind of paper for tracing sketches!! So I do not need to draw them over and over and over again. First trace, than make other side dark with sketchpencil (is that a word?), place on paper and trace the sketch again. Et voila! Handmade sketchprintthingie. Super handy :)
