Love your work. the particle series is great🔥 can you please make a video on making smooth camera transitions between scenes?
@amergujic488118 күн бұрын
Great content as usual, and it could not have come at a better time, thanks! Is there a reason (besides mograph) you are using cloner to render geometry and not the Octane tag in combination with the particle group? Also - good to see you back!
@Sketchyvisuals18 күн бұрын
Thanks mate! Because until last week the octane tag wasn't supported for C4D Particles lol

btw i got a question: when i duplicate some cubes inside my cloner, put a metallic material on the last one and then fire octane, the colors just goes mad... the only way to fix it is to set the clone to blend and not iterate or random. is it a bug or what?

How are you liking the system in comparison to xparticles
@Sketchyvisuals27 күн бұрын
Could be seriously threatening to use cases of XP if it keeps developing. I think as soon as there's fluid and granular simulations added I'll probably only use XP for particular things. It already handles higher particle counts better than XP.

I have some questions 1- my laptop 32 g ram and it’s crashed when I tried particle system 2- collider didn’t work even i put clider in particles folder layer
@Sketchyvisuals27 күн бұрын
Collider is a bit funny atm takes some settings to tweak. Can’t imagine ram has a whole lot to do with running the particles, these c4d particles probably run off of CPU I’d imagine?

i see crazy renders, but i think i couldnt use for animation? it would be crushing all time

just be smart with particle count and after cache it wont be too bad

Any chance you could link the LUTS you used? I tried to find them on your patreon but its locked behind a paywall and you said they weren't yours and they were free haha so just wondering.
@Sketchyvisuals25 күн бұрын
Yeah man absolutely! Couldn't quite remember where they were linked but turns out they were under my Prime Can Tutorial, here is the link (for some reason it just downloads them automatically when you click) -t.co/0E6z8dqjV3
