If you have a table saw in your shop you can use the 7/8 wrench you use to change out the blades.

What grease did you use for the bearings. First time swapping the bearings on my wheels would like to do it right and extend the life like you said.
@Schneids154 жыл бұрын
Any grease that is a certified wheel bearing grease will work. Of course a waterproof grease would be better. But not necessary.

@@Schneids15 it should be low temp grease too though maybe all wheel bearing grease is also low temp (since wheels operate in winter). I usually use Amsoil low temp though there are of course many others that say 'low temp' on them. Don't the bearings come pre-lubed or do they not put enough in? You probably said in your video but missed it since I have only skimmed it until I do the job.

when u hammer in the new bearings, you should NOT hammer on the inner race, you should use a socket that is size of outer race, or use an old bearing

I agree if you were going into a tight tolerance metal holder but with these plastic wheels they are so forgiving you barely put any force on them. Proper would be that way though yes
@tinman4786 Жыл бұрын
Yes i agree , sloppy tolerance on those idler wheels, nice but skeptical!

Boy. Those wheels and rear shaft sure didn't come out as easy as yours on my 20 year old MXZ ;)

Did you use rivets for your Quick Adjuster covers or hardware?
@Schneids152 жыл бұрын
Mine have been reto’d to bolts.

Do you have a video on how to remove the full skid with the quick adjust?

Can someone tell me why my 2016 skidoo 800 renegade has 4 wheels in the back ? Everyone I see has 3....did previous owner upgrade or something ?
@Schneids152 жыл бұрын
It is for sure better. I would think it is an upgrade but maybe the renegades come with 4 because of the longer track? I’m unsure. Definitely a nice upgrade.

Just my opinion though way way faster to pull whole skid from getgo
@Schneids155 жыл бұрын
It can be yes. Hard for me to pull with my lift. Plus if i pull it i have to spend a ton of time pulling the clicker and quick adjust system off

I would have pulled the complete suspension out rebuilt it and then reinstalled it all together
