I know i may be late, but i would like to tell my story. 5 years ago i started listening to skillet's music and i fell in love with their music. It always made me feel better when i was down. That's where the story begins. A lot of things happened in my life and i was devastated. I was always down. Then after that, a lot of bad luck happened to me. And the only thing that would make me feel better, is skillet's music. The 1st of october, i went to their show in montreal. Skillet played hero, and john cooper came in the crowd. I was trying to touch his hand but a guy was pushing me so i wasn't able to. But then John extanded his hand with a big smile so i was able to touch it. I don't know if that's what he wanted to do, but it made me feel so much better. Since this day, my life has been so much better. My life is now a normal life. I don't know if this comment will ever get to skillet, but if it does, thank you so much for all you do. Not only the songs, but also just for helping everyone around you. Even if you don't know it, your music heals people. Thanks you so much and long live skillet !

Brenden Blechle my grandad died December of last year. He was the nicest person I knew and deserved better than my grandma. She was the complete opposite of my grandad, drunk every Saturday night, smoked, always caused drama or trouble between people and abused him a bit by hitting him with frying pans over the head. He never said anything about anyone unless they real hurt him or one of his family members. Me and my dad have been struggling secretly, but my mother doesn’t know because she has so much stress going on. But I understand how you feel, skillet has helped me through the death of my grandad as well, and I hope they know that, that they help us with just words that they speak and sing, and that they understand that the power they have to save people’s lives.

I get how that feeling is. I lost my grandfather when I was 8 and he was basically like a second father to me when my dad wasn't there. He wasn't the smartest or the strongest, but he had a pure gold heart and a wise mind. I was broken hearted when he passed and I still think about him to this day. It'll get better I promise. Just know your grandfather is always with you, even though he may not be there physically

One of my very good friends died of leukemia about 8 years ago and when I heard the news about it I just completely collapsed and sobbed, and I felt like the whole world was falling in on me. I ran from home and found Monster by Skillet. I felt like a Monster. Devastated, broken, I wanted to break others. I wanted them to suffer. But Skillet's music reached me. They saved me. Now? 15 years later, happily married with a little boy and a baby girl. Thank you, Skillet. For helping me see the Monster inside of me... and seeing the Hero inside of me. And if you fear rejection from society, then always remember that if you are rejected by someone cause you weren't good enough, then it is NEVER because of you, it is because their standards were too low. Not all beautiful people are good, but all good people are beautiful. These days, people consider beauty in being lust.... large breasts, wide hips and big lips. These infact are not true beauty, but only ways to attract more lustful desires. True beauty lies in a person's heart, and when he/she has good intention then it shines upon their faces. Beauty is never body, if someone loves you for your body then they only want you for sex/lust. Love will always see your heart and soul! And if you are skinny, and if you still wanna change that, then there are ways! You can always look up ways to gain weight or to increase chest size. Being sad never helps, but being determined will always get you what you want! So please don't be sad, and be grateful for what you have. At least thankfully you are a normal human being with functional body parts. Some humans, are not lucky enough. I have seen people who don't have legs, people who are permanently blind, people who cannot even live a normal life. Always be grateful for whatever you have, for God has sent you here for a reason, and He had a plan when He knitted you in your mother's womb. Always smile, always help people and always spread more positivity around you. Stay blessed ❤

Hi I just wanted to say that everyone struggles with how they look even the "good looking people" personally I have struggled for the last three years with how large my body is. I'm not fat im just huge shoulders and neck. And with my height only being 5'8 it makes me feel kinda dumb like I'm a gorilla. And I wish i was taller or smaller a lot. My cousin Joshua was and will always be my anchor holding me to the ground. He passed away last year he was a Navy diver but he ended up drowning, but I always remember him by the anchor that he had tattooed on his hand and this song reminds me so much of him. I know he's watching over us now.
