I absolutely LOVE the angle of this video. Instead of some of the other videos that encourage employees to find mental ways to tolerate and deal with a toxic environment or a toxic boss, it's sometimes good to put yourself first and plan your exit strategy while attempting to do your best while you're still there with the organization. This was a very realistic way to manage getting through the day-to-day and preparing for whatever is next. I also like how she mentioned the HR and higher level manager angles. If you get to that point where you feel you need to do that, seriously consider whether it's time to go or not...and whether you can deal with what comes after you've gone to HR or a higher up.
@messue4283 жыл бұрын
Everything she said was the brutal truth. Especially the part about HR. This really helped me. Just cope with this boss the best you can, and learn as much as possible while you are there. You will be the winner in the end.

Please consider that loving yourself is the standard for how you love others. Love others as yourself. I just spent the first half of my life believing I should love others better than myself. when I saw that so much this wrong mindset contributed to my bad choices in the past that led to major hardship. I knew I had help again and the ability to positively control my own happiness and success by making sure I love myself the same as I had been loving others

In most cases, the very reason our boss hate us and wants us to leave is not because we are incompetent but because we don’t praise him all the time like other employees do. We can’t sugar coat things. Our boss wants us to roam around him like dogs with their tails always moving. This is their insecurities because they see us as a potential threat for their job which they get because of some corruption or by other unfair means

@Epicionx7 жыл бұрын
Documentation. If your boss is incompetent, then document it. spend a few months going through instances, date/time them and elaborate on them fully. Stay in contact with the higher-ups. A manager is just that, but you're free to speak with others. I went directly to the head of my department and arranged a meeting with them where I explained everything. I handed over the documentation, and had a follow-up meeting to answer any questions. In my case, the head of the department had a chat with my manager to confirm whether such events had taken place as described in my documentation. Once it was agreed upon that they took place and unprofessional, the request to have my manager removed was sent to the central office in a different city. Two weeks later my manager was removed. Bear in mind, this worked because I am a key part of the team I work with and in the institution i work in. If i was an intern or some newbie who just started, i wouldn't be taken seriously. Be good at your job and people take you seriously. That's all.
@culluts27557 жыл бұрын
Adeem Sajid being good at your job in most cases first work. it just happened to work for you because you obviously work for a company that practices professionalism. Good for you.

@tandrace86227 жыл бұрын
Good job, Adeem. So glad it worked for you. Lots of times, management sticks together, unless it's a circumstance that puts the entire company at risk. Documentation is important. Without documentation, "legally" its like it never happened. It just turns into a lot of "he said...she said" mumble-jumble. Documentation signifies the seriousness of the matter.

@jacknelson95836 жыл бұрын
This is nothing more than common sense and motherly advise. If you want to make it in this world, you have to be strategic, you have to be ruthless, and above all you have to have the guts to do it. If you meet these requirements already, or are working on creating them within yourself, you have a chance and dont need this video. If you dont have the desire to become that strong independent person, watch all the basic psychology videos you want and you'll still go nowhere.

Not due to happiness but because it struck me that the way Im being abused by my boss and her flying monkeys at work isnt worth all the money in the world! For my own peace of mind and happiness, I am putting a plan into action to transfer departments. I know my value and deserve to be supported, acknowledged for my hard work, encouraged in my career goals. NOT harrassed, overworked, humiliated in meetings, held at a higher standard than my other coworkers, blamed and unfairly critisized for mistakes that others get away with, and have my ideas ignored then later stolen! Screw that, I am out!

how to develop a good subconscious mind. what here I meant to say or explain is.. sometime we have so much negative feelings and goes deeper in subconscious level. As something goes very badly in our subconscious mind..when time comes we act so unconsciously because of wrong seeds planted in our subconscious mind. Kindly make a video on it so it will be helpful to have optimistic/positive attitude even the things go wrong.

The boss is first a person, boss is just a title provided by a social entity. If he/she is fired, they are back being a person. If the boss is bad, how is the company tolerating such bad behavior? In theory, no employee should have to deal with bad boss. The company's code of conduct does not allow bad behavior, then how these nasty bugs survive being a boss?
