eating and drinking: 1. talking with your mouth full is rude. chew, swallow, then talk. 2. don’t rush to speak 3. avoid elbows on the table-can cause clumsiness and spilling. 4. drinking too much alcohol in a social situation is very rude. 5. do not take food from someone else’s plate. 6. tip the waiters reasonably. - communication: 7. avoid inappropriate comments. stop and think before you speak. 8. get off your phone! 9. sarcasm or insults. they’re not funny to everyone. 10. monitor your volume! 11.unnecessarily interrupting others is rude behavioral: 12. invading personal space 13. avoid PDA 14. poor hygiene and gross actions should be left to being at home. go to the restroom if you’re fixing something! 15. avoid cutting in line, it can cause violence. 1

First of all great video, but I have one thing to say about the staring. Since I don't like to be on my phone a lot, I tend to look around while on public transportation, which can sometimes lead to the misunderstanding that I stare at somebody. Usually I would do as you say, smile and look somewhere else, but it also happened before that some guys think I am flirting with them and come over to me and start talking to me sometimes in a pushy way, which I don't really like. So just saying that even though it's a great tip and definitly shows manners, that you have to be carefull who you smile at, not only as a woman.

I thing of etiquette "rules" as dance steps, a "social lubricant" that imbeds as reflex steps that help avoid stepping on eachother's toes without distracting from the positive goals of social interactions. Ex.: If a waiter knows when you're finished with your plate and you know which side they'll be approaching from to collect it, you can continue your conversation with others seamlessly and yet remain at reduced risk of collision. Etiquette dictates graciousness, and if faux pas result in someone being shamed, the person causing the humiliation is more ill-mannered than they may be aware of. In the case of Meghan Markle, she chose to join a family who had been born into a life-long responsibility to display exemplary behavior at all time, so, yes, they expected her to continue improving her manners forever.

Why are etiquettes only important to impress people in professional settings? These should be a part of our habits. And these should become common for the masses. I wish there are such video clips in Hindi too so the less educated Indian men and women could get benefits.

Me hamesha ek ideal person kaise behave karta hai na waise behave kiya hu jindagi me..... Lekin jaha bhi me gaya hu wahape logone hate kara hai.... Mera Andaja ye hai ki meri personality ko dekh ke log insecure feel hote hai..... Woh hota hai na Jiska Bande jaisa banneko gharwale batate hai unko aur firr woh bacche end up hating the ideal guy.... I think that's why people hate me.... My second guess is Me unse better karta hu career me toh esi wajah se jealous hote hai log aur hate karte..... I don't know how to handle this....
