You use the back of your knife to mark touch ups thats a great tip got to try that one at work today !!

DCtaping I know I've been in construction for 30 years, I've never even seen that or heard of that before. We just finished a job, but before it's painted I'm going to try it just for the hell of it

@@timschmitt7787 I work by myself most of the time. Sometimes my 13 year old son helps me. But he can only do so much. I finished solo most of my career. If you ever want to come do some finishing with me. I’m in Northeastern Pa.

manwithapan Damn I wish you were a little closer, I'm south of Phily. All the drywallers down here suck, I just tried some a new guy a friend of mine recommended, after it was primed it took me another five of mud to fix the guy's work! It's terrible man the quality in general is going so far downhill

Damn mate , I feel your pain sanding that big of a house alone 🥴 I'd love a new series walking each day/stage of a job through in chronological order 🙌 I've had staff, used contractors either me etc But for the short term it's just me. And I'm using flushers etc and trying to figure out a system to stick by. Just looking for some inspiration brother

I'm very similar except the staff part just started with flushers so far I'm really enjoying them , makes more of a mess but worth it for the time savings so far

Man that looks killer, expert finishing job bud wished I had you down here ga, looks like some 9ft ceilings in that house I use 54inch rock for 9ft stuff saves alot of time but looks like you handled it well though and hey got to give a shout to the hangers that hung that house, the hanging looked great as well keep it going man ain't many of us dinosaurs left young folks don't like to work like that lol

We used 54” on the entire downstairs. Only put 48” on that one room upstairs. The rest of rooms up there were over 9

I had my oldest son help me box it on skim coat for a day, as I had to help him skim another one.
