I just commented on another video and was wondering if this would be a good alternative to help me skim the top of the pool while my vacuum is running as this is my goal. My issue is I only have one port in my skimmer or my pool to only run the vacuum all the time or remove the vacuum and just do the skimmer for the surface. Again my goal is to some how slim the surface while my vacuum is going at the same time. What would you recommend for this?

Why not just drill a hole (Start Small) where that round indented raised side of the device is and let it draw in water as your suction side cleaner works? This would mimic what the Pentair vac mate does to some degree...

Why dont they offer the attachment any more? Not even listed on their site unfortunately.

The company was sold a couple of years ago so not sure why the new company didn't want to continue selling the Vac attachment. a great idea really.

Can you use it without the float valve assembly in place? More suction that way?

Because they are just shipping them out this week for all those who pre-ordered them. I held off on the video since no one even has it yet. Should be arriving on July 11th to most customer's homes. I received one of their advanced pre-production versions for filming. I will be releasing this video later this week. It works really well in my testing - better than the Vac-Mate and easy to clean out and install. The Vac Mate is a pain.

Add a gallon of liquid chlorine and run the pool for 24 hours to be on the safe side. Do not use pool for 24 hours. It should be fine.
