I have a large pool company here now doing mine in combination with replastering the entire pool. It's a very tedious job jackhammering through eight inches of concrete. Two hours of jacking and barely one half way through. I want to tell them a better way but I don't think they would be appreciative. They're charging me 1,800 for the pit, material and labor.

I ave to replace a cracked elbow at the weird, but everything seems to be covered in concrete. Who ever installed the pool used cheapo elbows, I have replaced them all but this last one at the weir is impossible to get to.

What is that foam piece in the skimmer?!

Great question: That piece is to keep that top lid in place so that it is level with the deck after the concrete is poured. It does not show in this video, but our technician will take it out after the patch is set.

Awesome. Always seems to be the number 1 culprit that leaks in a pool. We also do a waterproof injection around skimmers if the skimmer is still in good condition. We also have a video on that on our channel.

Mi problema mi skimer tiene grietas y solucione una grieta.. En un futuro cambiaré el skimer.. Por eso mi duda si en fibra se puede cambiar ono

Je ne pense pas que les pros aujourd’hui bétonnent et cimentent les skimmer au contraire, gravillons et grain de riz bien tassé et compacté, (pas de terre car elle a tendance a gonfler ou se réduire) car au moment de remplacer ce sera plus simple
