My friend got a nasty rash by leaving her gym clothes on for a couple hours each day after her workout. Your mention of leaving the gym and wearing a backpack makes me think of that.

My boyfriend had some athletes foot.. I gave him a left over bottle of witchhazel, which drys my skin out to much. He rolled his eyes, but drenched his foot.. I picked up anti-fungal spray from the store for next day. Next day he said it didn't itch anymore, and it was looking better. Now I get to roll my eyes lol. Anyway, I ♡ this channel! Love finding natural remedies! Usually accidentally..but I want to learn. Thanks for sharing!

I had a 2nd degree heat rash a few years ago in July after working hard outside. It affected my legs, thighs and abdomen that felt like fire for over 2 weeks. It was really bad. I had to keep cool indoors and bathe each day to cool off and use apple cider vinegar 1 tsp in a cup of distilled water applied after bath to acidify skin and soothe it. No oils on skin. I am glad that whatever you had is responding to the remedy from your friend! I agree that the steroid creams aren't always effective and actually can make things worse with the oils they put in the creams, esp. on sensitive skin.

Would love to know what's in the Chinese medicine. I've been fighting fungus for years off and on. No insurance, so can't go that way. Coming up with something that is ok for cat's, dog's & humans has been quite a challenge. I was so happy to have found you! You truly care about the animals & it show's. Please let us know if this works. Thank you Dr Andrew. If more vets were as caring as you obviously are, there would be less suffering critters.

I have a pug with nose wrinkle sore for over 5 years; I have been giving minced (fresh if I have it) mixed into dog food; secretions decreased; wound is 1/2 original size; In the past I have been using Quadridrop; but if you stop using it, sore comes back; plus I have to pay for a vet visit to get prescrip to get it; So far we both are happy; don't know yet if it will completely disappear.

It does look like excessive heat in the body coming out. Peppermint oil topically is good and also peppermint tea and the tea bags can be applied on the back. Did you have some emotional stress? Some life more significant life stress in the past 6 months? Often stress is the cause of lowering the immunity and then things like reactions happen. But you know this already ;) ! Stay amazing

Anything skin, Sesame Oil! Works for dogs, cats, humans, babies, ... for (almost) EVERYTHING =) If for some bizarre reason it doesn't work, combine with taro plaster: 90% taro/eddo/albi grated and mix with 5-10% grated ginger, slap on effected area and leave for 8-12 hours (might have to bandage in place). Do overnight or change every 8-12 hours. WORKS FOR EVERYTHING, including abscesses/gangrene , tumours, cancer, and all of the little stuff! GBY =) (ginger brings blood flow to the area, taro/eddo/albi draws out and sesame oil brings nutrients, - bingo)

I went to a dermatologist with an itchy rash ….. twice. Both times he gave me steroids which I normally will not do but I was desperate. Both times, the rash went away but came back. He said it was airborne, to stay inside. Was he serious?? Both times, he spent 5 minutes with me , never asked questions about my lifestyle, etc. Both times, I asked him to biopsy an area but he said he didn’t need to. In my opinion, he’s a quack. I have been to several different doctors and no one knows what I have. My PCP gave me a prescription for scabies but wasn’t sure what I have. After reading the side effects, I said no and that’s when i went to the dermatologist. I have spent a ton of money on everything out there including all the natural stuff. I’m now going to a naturalist doctor and undergoing blood work, stool testing, and urine testing for heavy metals. I’ve had this for 7 months and am miserable. I read an article about a young lady who had an itch and she ended up dying because she had cancer. So, I do NOT recommend anyone to go to a “doctor”. They are trained to only do specific things, like what big pharma tells them. The doctors weren’t trained to heal, only to write prescriptions. I believe these rashes so many are experiencing are from the chem trails. If you don’t know what that is, research. There are global sites you can visit where folks talk about their rashes. Sounds like another covid, huh?

One commenter suggested calamine (my go-to), and my 2 cents... you can get poison ivy , sumac, oak etc from your pets if they wander thru it and they rub you. Also, dietary change? Or your liver telling you something....really glad the chinese herbs helped!!! Lots of wisdom in eastern medicine!!Cute vid!

Doctors always start with a steroid cortizone cream, then refer you to a dermatologist. Do you still have the rash? It looks like tinea versicolor. The sweaty backpack would have started it. Get paniers for your bike to hold your stuff, no backpack. and wear only breathable fabrics- cotton, bamboo, wool. I had it years ago, and the Dermatologist said I must have got it going overseas or at the gym using their towels. I'd done neither. But I had stayed at a motel a few months back. I was given a strong anti-fungal cream and had to use it daily for a whole year. But when it reoccurred a few years later, as I was heavily stressed, the doctor gave me an oral anti-fungal prescription and that killed it within a few days.

It's not poison ivy, but could be one of the poison plants you may have brushed against while biking/hiking. Some just cause an itchy rash. Calamine lotion to relieve itch and gone in about a week or two depending on your immune system. Happened to me, I think it was poison sumac, just a rash, no blisters like in poison ivy.

Have you used a new soap or new washing detergent? That could be a cause. I had shingles and it itched but didnt hurt so i dont think it has to hurt to be a mild case of shingles. But shingles follows a nerve pattern. I would suggest L-Lysine in case it is shingles or some others herpes type infection. It is an immunity booster so i dont know if its ok with steroid as they contradict each other

I get a rash that looks nearly the same about once a year. It randomly appears with no prior sweating, change in laundry detergent or anything. No definite diagnosis was made and 5 or so different creams and ointments, e.g.. steroids, antifungal etc. didn't help. Didn't try Chinese remedies but each time the rash goes away on it's own after about 6 weeks - with no treatment. The body just seems to deal with it and get over it.

May be it was the detergent you were using to wash your clothes? Since you say you wear a backpack a lot when riding, maybe it was the irritation of the sweat, the backpack, and the detergent in the shirt you were wearing...that caused an outbreak? Sometimes detergents penetrate clothing in certain areas of the fabric more so than in other parts, and with the combination of your sweat, the backpack rubbing on your shirt all factors coming together caused irritation? Something to think about that is for sure. Even though you may think well I am wearing other shirts that were washed in the same detergent and I don't have a problem, it could be because you don't have a backpack on your back causing sweat to permeate the material? If your backpack is the washable kind you may want to wash it as well. Or it could be that you brushed up against a plant or a tree that is not likeable to your skin?

So what did the Chinese doctor say it was? Without proper diagnosis and identifying cause, it's going to be a crap shoot in treating it. I remember an employee who came to work with red bumps on her legs and arms. She went to doctor also. She thinks it was from allergic reaction to new detergent. I believe she got a steroid cream. Went away finally and never came back. It's weird how skin problems suddenly show up. My cat kept having skin issues until I gave him Sun Chlorella, 6 little tablets daily, L glycine, and Nutrical to give him nutrients due to his weight loss suffering from kidney disease. He has no skin issues at all anymore. But I can't do much about his failing kidneys except give distilled water. He won't eat the KD canned food or healthy foods at all.

Great followup to the coconut oil video. The sad truth that I'm pretty sure you are well aware of that lots of diagnosis are made by what actually works. The doctor makes a best educated guess and then based upon the results can rule out certain things and rule in others, adjust the medications based upon that. More often than not, the condition gets better then reverts back to what it was or gets worse at which point the doctor shrugs and doesn't know. So, an accurate diagnosis (as opposed to an educated first guess) is made based upon what works. This is one reason why things like acupuncture or less so chiropractic works because results are measured by other more systemic metrics, which the practitioner (like the acupuncturist) learns in a good school of Chinese medicine or developed over hundreds of patients for a chiropractor. It is unfortunate that medical doctors are forced into this particular paradigm by their licensing laws, because I bet many, if not most, are well aware that their paradigm doesn't work for most people with chronic or ambiguous inflammatory conditions like a skin rash. The video was amusing, but also sad. It is also sad that veterinary medicine is jumping on the 3rd party payment method of reimbursement because veterinarians who also practice chiropractic or acupuncture will be harder to find. Insurance companies are not in the business of health; they are in the business of risk management and therein lies the problem for 3rd party payment systems.

Chiggers? Sand flea! Can not see them. They burr under skin, itchy red bumps, could cause scar if scratched.

If they were to add a contraceptive to the food you could feed it to strays or maybe put bins of it at locations so animals could feed from there and not starve to death..this i think would drastically reduce the ferrel populations of stray animals.I personally think it is something to do that is humane seeing that there are a lot of strays abd riad kill.that i see everyday....i hate seeing someones abandoned pet on the side of the roadway as though they had no value

Too bad the Dr couldn't tell you what is going on but if it comes back a dermatologist can look further into what is causing the rash. Glad the Chinese herbal remedy is helping you though.
