I’m so sorry for your loss. It always leaves a hole where there didn’t use to be one it seems to me. This is a lovely memorial that I’m sure her daughter will cherish.

Amazing the skin looks so natural..I will start to use more green in the hairline where the skin and hair meets.I often struggle with making that part look natural.Sorry to hear that she was passing away.This is a beautiful tribute.thank you for sharing anyway even if its painful.

Hello David. I will star next moth in your Patreon. Very interesting your work. What paper did you use?

Hi Olga... thank you, thrilled you are finding my work interesting.... the surface I use is Pastelmat. I use the board version but you can buy it as paper.

Is there any particular reason why you choose pencils over soft pastels?
@DavePortersArt2 жыл бұрын
Hi Diane... it all about the texture and colour subties that can be acheived with using the pencils. I've tried the sticks but wasn't happy with my results. I do use them in some areas occasionally. If you check out my Robert Powell video there is footage of me using Rembrandt sticks. 🙏🙏
