I have sensitive skin and I tried several times to use Tretinoin before I was successful. Your suggestion of using mositurizer first was really helpful. Before that I was appling Tretinoin first then moisturizer. Turns out I need the buffer. I also went slowly using Tretinoin one night a week the first month, two nights the second month etc. I had to do two months at five nights a week before I could move on. I've stayed at six nights a week now for several years. Using 0.05 with no intention of moving up.

Target has suffered from some kind of revamping of image. Weird designer clothing at crazy prices, and very little to choose from (at least in my area). Nothing casual or fun or affordable. Almost like they were trying to turn it into a boutique?? I stopped shopping there and they closed my credit card account because I wasn't using it enough. Well... I won't be using it at all I guess. I remember when Target had beautiful clothes made of natural fibers, like real linen, real cotton, real leather, etc. I still have some of these items, but they are very old now. Sad.

I couldn't agree more! I tell people (or show them) items I still have from the late 1990s - early 2000s from Target in both clothing and home or holiday decor and they are very surprised at the higher quality. I've written before in comments on other's KZbin videos almost exactly what you wrote here. I very rarely shop at Target anymore - at least not as much as I once did. TJ Maxx is the same. Homegoods is still pretty good but the quality at TJ Maxx has plummeted badly :(

@@DrDrayzdayPhew! I hope that your pretty brooch is repairable. If so, a jeweller can attach a safety chain (to most precious costume & fine jewellery). I think that it instantly elevates the look of vintage jewellery, as well as the obvious advantage of lessening the chance of losing a favourite piece. Taking seatbelts on & off is one of the common ways of losing brooches and earrings...as well as trying on clothes in fitting rooms. I worked with jewellery for many years. It's a timely reminder to check/tighten/replace your earring backings. If the backings have rubber inside (where the post enters), it gets worn and/or perishes over time and becomes less snug & secure. 👱❤️

Yes you may be able to use retinoids on sensitive skin!I I have pale (think redhead), sensitive skin with patches that may be mild rosacea. I started using an OTC retinol (see Dr Dray's recommendations) . I eventually went to the lowest strength tretinoin, (0.025%) and "worked my way up to 0.1%. I reviewed and followed the recommendations ( Dr Dray, and Angie H&F) to acclimate. I NEVER went through an ugly, red, crusty dry stage, but I did notice a bit more sensitivity with increase in strength in each stage. Now my skin is well acclimated. I have appreciated an overall change in my skin. My skin has become more resilient to change: less sensitive, no dry patches l (even when I forget to moisturize) and the overall look has improved. I AM careful to use sunscreen on a daily basis.

I looked up contraindications for the light mask. I was surprised to see antihistamine as one. They recommended stopping 5 days before using the mask. They also caution tretinoin use. I'm curious how safe it is around the eyes. I asked my eye doc what she thought of the red light masks in general, she said she did see one patient with eye damage, but she didn't tell me the specific device. I've been too afraid to try one after hearing that.
