Our cat, Eliot, got a claw in me a week ago. I cleaned it promptly w/soap & water but the spot raised & was tender for a week. Finally, I thought, "Andrea would say put Vaseline on it !" which is what I did.....& a BandAid. Healed right up in a day. What can't that stuff DO ?? LOL Also ! For years I dreaded winter because after showers, my skin would burn & itch for hours. I tried all sorts of products but nothing helped. Thanks to YT dermatologists, I learned I had damaged the skin barrier but that it's easy to repair. I started using BioTherma cleansing oil in the shower & Hempz lotion (applying while I'm damp from shower)....this winter, I do not burn or itch, thanks to YT dermatologists. THANK YOU !!!! I was miserable until I found you & followed your advise.

I've been putting petroleum jelly just inside my nose lately for exactly this reason. I've wondered if it was safe to do that and even thought, "What would Dr. Dray say?" The timing of this video could not be better.

It’s fine to use petroleum just inside slightly. If you need moisture more inside, buy Secaris which is meant for inside and water based. There have been cases when petroleum could cause breathing issues

I regret wasting my time reading “It Ends with Us” by Colleen Hoover. I only read it bc EVERYONE was gushing about how incredible it was and “oh my god, you’ll never believe the ending- I CRIED!” That book was some of the most predictable formulaic tripe I’ve ever read. I knew how it ended before I was even halfway through, but I pressed on, thinking maybe I would be proven wrong. When I finished it I actually yelled out loud, “THAT’S IT?! That’s the BIG surprise ending?!” So disappointing. I’ve never regretted reading a book EXCEPT for that one. Books like that are for people who like to tell their friends they read a book.

This year for Valentine's Day I would like the Lego Cherry Blossom (from their botanical range). It will last much longer than real flowers! I really have enough perfume & jewellery. I never had Lego as a child, although, we had lots of fun playing with the wood off-cut blocks that my father brought home from building sites. I also loved doing craft with thr discontinued wall paper sample books. It was the 70's so there were groovy designs, space-age metallic geometrics, regency stripes and Victorian swirly flocked velvet textured wall papers etc. Some of them would have been perfect with that brown bathrobe and a green shag carpet! 👱🏻‍♀️❤️

I used to play with similar things! In the '70s and early '80s my grandmother used to get these little 2" x 1" fabric swatches in a catalogue, and she'd save them for me so I could sew together doll clothes. They looked terrible. I had no idea what I was doing. But it was fun!

Hello, Dr. Dray. We did, indeed, have a cold spell, and my skin was also affected from having the heater on. So, I remembered your advice to use petroleum jelly. Just wow!! 💯 It really helped! My nightime routine typically includes adapelene followed by Gold Bond Age Renew (which I find moisturizing), but for several days I switched to adapelene (let it dry) and applied the PJ. Thank you for keeping us educated on skin care! 65 years of age...SE Texas. ❤

I used to get nosebleeds all the time as a kid, and I even had my nose cauterized a few times. The first time they actually used a red-hot needle, which suuuuuuucked. The last time I got it done I was in college and they had changed methods and used some kind of chemical-- easy peasy lemon squeezy. Haven't had a nosebleed in 25 years now. Yay for modern science!

I woke up super early this morning and decided to just get up and get myself ready and go grocery shopping. I shop at a super Wal-Mart in Virginia which is the closest place to go. Gas is always cheaper in that part of Virginia than in Maryland so I always fill up my car while I'm over there. Got several chores done around the house and am now ready to relax and have tea with my dear sweet friend. I hope you can join me. The kitties are happy to get some early cuddles. I hope you have a nice evening and have sweet dreams. Peace, joy and many blessings and much love to you always. 💟🕊💟🙏💟🐈☕🐈☕💟

Dr Dray, i have what i think is a keloid scar on my jawline from nodular acne. I see where one of the recommended treatments is retinol (adapalene?). But if the keloid is from a build-up of collagen, and retinol helps to Build collagen, wouldn't that be counter-effective? The only thing stopping me from icing it and slicing it off with a scalpel is that i have a cataract and have trouble seeing it clearly- I'm getting desperate.

I'm so cold thinking about sleeping in 66 degrees EEEKK. Anything below 75 is so cold to us here in southern Texas lol. AC at 80 majority of the year and the week we use heat we keep it at 76 lol and still sleep with blankets every night haha. Go you! I wish I could tolerate that even if just for the savings in the electric bill.

@@Ydkm8364 I'm in southeast Louisiana LOL. I sleep really well in 66 degrees. I feel cold getting into bed but I warm up rather quickly. I'd burn up with the heater at 76. I'm mismatched for the climate in Louisiana (even though I am born and raised here). Cold weather energizes me. I'd be the most fit person if I lived in a colder climate. I hibernate in the summer. LOL

@@redlikewineagain697 born and raised in Iowa myself and hated 9 out of 12 months a year. Even being raised there I could never acclimate to that cold. Brrrr! My brother is like you, sleeps cold and prefers under 75, needless to say he happily stayed in Iowa ;)

I don't think she's done a brand review but if you type in, dr dray glow recipe, you'll come across some videos. Most of their products tend to have fragrance and can be pricey.

do you have any advice for nipple eczema? ive had itchy, weeping aerola eczema for over a year. had a biopsy and confirmed it’s just eczema. been to several derms and tried so many steroid creams and moisturizers and they can’t help me and said i’ll just have to live with it

You should get a Nintendo switch! it is the most updated console like the Wii. There are so many active games that you can play with it! Just dance is one of the best active games they have but they also have that tennis game, bowling, Ring fit adventure which makes working out like an adventure exploring different places and battling bosses! There is also boxing and zumba! I highly recommend these because they are sooooo much fun 🎉
