Tried all the face washes, quit coffee, changing pillow cases etc.. and nothing worked. So decided to quit all dairy and protein shakes/bars this year and over a month later my face has 100% cleared up and not a new zit in weeks which is miraculous for me. Woah.... this actually confirmed with what my dermatologist recommended for me to do when it comes to milk. I had hormonal acne and aside from giving me medication for my acne and topical ointments, she also told me to avoid milk due to the hormones that it contains. I’m currently drinking only almond milk and my skin has never looked better. Also, another thing I like to add, having too much androgens can also make you have irregular periods. Too much androgens causes your body not to ovulate, thus making your menstrual cycle more irregular and heavier on the flow. Thanks for always informing everyone on how to take care of ourselves inside out 😁😁😁

Guys such a good video!!! It actually promotes most efficient easy and natural way to get rid of acne! I changed my died few months ago I literally cannot belive how much of a diffrent person I am outside and out:) Glowy skin with no acne, great energy levels, healthy hair and my skin actually lookes 'taned orange' because of the amount of carrots and sweet potatoes I consume:P I eat this EVERY single day: MORNING: bagels with one avocado tomatoes and poached eggs or oatmeal with soy milk, banana, few spoons of nut butter and loads of dark cacao powder, LUNCH: 3 boiled carrots, one/two boiled sweet potato, steamed bell peppers, half a head of steamed broccoli all of it on top of groats. EVENING: pasta with rich tomato sauce with loads of spinach. During the day: I try to drink at least 4 cups of green tea and sometimes I snack on carrots dipped in hummus I GAVE UP DRINKING AND I DON T SMOKE, also I take fish and flax-seed oil supplement every morning. My skin changed COMPLETELY! I know it may seem weird but eating the same nutritious dishes every single day saved me loads of time thinking of what I'm going to eat and what to buy in a grocery store! For people that feel depressed and know that they have poor diet listen to this I was on a medication called Fluoxetine because of my low mood, after I started eating the way I mentioned above I stopped taking the pills even tho I knew it may be risky without doctors approval but I have never felt happier and I know I'm not coming back to be taking them. It's crazy how the healthy foods can change your life in every way!

Eliminating sugar is key. I speak from experience. I'm 32 years old, been suffering from combination, mostly oily skin since I was 12. I'm talking about cystic, greasy, painful acne. Getting off the sugar and high glycemic foods and drinks is the hardest part. Weaning yourself off is key. Once you get off of it, you might see some purging. This is normal. Once you cross that hurdle, you will see and notice the difference. Faster results? Don't take ANY form of sugar, not even Manuka honey or pure maple syrup, as 'healthy' as they may be. Stay away from grains as well, including popcorn. Don't know why these ladies are recommending these as substituted. Everything else they say is correct though. Stay away from all forms of dairy! Soy as well, wheat too. Its tough to find alternatives but once your body is rid of all of these, you will see and feel the difference. 👍

I've always hated milk and recently I stopped eating dairy at all to help clear my skin. I eat all the healthy foods you recommended in the video (like spinach, kale, flaxseeds, blueberries, salmon, matcha), I take the anti-inflammatory supplements (spirulina, turmeric, sulfur, probiotics), have a strict skincare routine (together with tretinoin), change my pillowcase/towel and drink 2 lt of water everyday. I even stopped drinking coffee 'cause it triggered my skin to produce more oil. I stopped using liquid foundations and chose instead mineral makeup. My skin got better but I still get acne 😞 I guess it's just a battle you can't win.

But remember that your body is constantly changing as you grow older, and at the end of the day, your acne doesn't define you for who you are and the people in your life remember you for you and your personality, skills, talents, and knowledge. And chances are, we tend to focus more on our imperfections than the people around us which then causes us to stress more than we should. 😭😭 Take it easy, hun! Wishing you all the best! 😘😘

I've been on a plant based diet for the past two months and wasn't doing much, I noticed that when I'm a little bit more flexible my skin actually gets better, you can over stress it. I've been drinking Celery Juice for almost 70 days straight and taking Zinc supplements and finally my skin is taking a turn for the better. It's really hard to be patience but that's a key!
@zaidmoges3745 жыл бұрын
Random FYI, it is better that you grind your own flex seed than buying it already grounded... Always LOVE your videos 😍 Cheers!

Helpful video but I would advise against dried fruit they contain way more sugar than most granola bars 😅

But it’s natural sugar.

too much of something is not good.
@faethy5 жыл бұрын
@@estherkoffi582 nope it's all added sugar pick up literally any bag of dried fruit. The reason that dried fruit can last longer than normal fruit is the amount of sugar and preservatives in it, fructose corn syrup or sugar is in the ingredient list. It the same concept with dried fish or meat.
@ElizaBeth-zr1hw5 жыл бұрын
@@faethy The reason dried fruit is high in sugar is that when you dry the fruit and take away the liquid component (i.e. the water), it concentrates the amount of sugar in the fruit. Perhaps there are some food brands out there that will add in additional sugar to dried fruit, which can then increase the sugar content even more.

I’m a 16 year old girl that’s trying to gain weight by eating more food. I also break out a lot, even when I don’t eat as much. So I’m trying to figure out how to step up my skin care routine. Pimples are so annoying, I wish they didn’t exist 😫

How on earth did your dermatologist say that?! That’s so irresponsible not to mention wildly incorrect- glad you are doing your own research/ know otherwise 🙌
@etherealdepths5 жыл бұрын
Hannah Hansen yes a lot of drs/dermatologists don’t actually want to heal the problem. If they did, that’d be less money for them.

My dermatologist said the same thing.. diet has been the biggest factor in my acne. The skin care routine, drinking lots of water the easiest.

Eating healthy is for sure one of the biggest factors for clean and glowy, bright skin Sometimes medical help (like creams or pills) may be needed if your acne problems are more serious but if you adopt healthy eating habits while on therapy and after therapy, you'll save a life 😂😘

Just make sure that you ground the chia seeds too. The Omega-3's wont be released if you just soak them. Best to grind your own chia and flax seeds, and keep them in the fridge!
