My mom didn't understand skincare and taught me to use bar soap and witch hazel, for my oily combination skin that was the worst. I had terrible skin as a teen and young woman. How I wish that I would have had someone to teach me proper skincare. I had to spend years correcting the damage I caused because I didn't know any better. I'm glad for you wonderful ladies teaching younger generations how to prevent that sort of trouble and damage. I would have loved to have had something like this back then. Thank you for working so hard to help us all take the best care of ourselves inside and out.

I don't even know the existence of moisturizer or toner. I lost a lot of confidence during hs. But when I got to college, my breaks out went gone so my escema. When I was in my teens, I had chronic acne 😭. I finally took myself to the dermatologist, why didn’t my parents take me!!! I thought scrubbing your face until there was no moisture was the way to get rid of acne. Now, I know how important it is to double cleanse, moisturize, and put sunscreen daily. I am 45, and experiencing hormonal acne now (not bad as the chronic acnes but still uncomfortable) I had to see a dermatologist... I always get compliments on my skin. People think I am in my 20s or 30s... 😃 However, acne is still a struggle. I can’t wait until there are no more acnes in my life.... 😢 Still better than in my teens 😊

I love that Ro mentioned Aveeno because I keep a full size bottle of the Daily Moisturizing Lotion at my desk at work because it’s the only thing that works on my dry hands. And keep another full bottle on my night stand to moisturize before bed. It’s the only non cruelty free product I own because it just works!!! And I can’t do scented stuff either and so many lotions and creams are scented.

Hello, I didn't know how to send you guys an email, so I will write to you 2 on here. I will be 40 on August 9th, and I have struggled with skin care since my teenage years. My poor Mother worked 2 to 3 jobs at a time to provide for her children as a single Mom, so she never helped me out with this, other than, go wash your face. I honestly don't think she even knew what to do either. So I learned how to hide my facial imperfections with a lot of makeup. But thanks to your wonderful show, I have learned so much. This is my 1st week doing a skin care routine and have added The Ordinary Niacinamide serum and Rosehip Oil. I am still waiting on my toners, whitch should be in tomorrow. Today was day 6 and I could literally see the purging of some very deep black heads that i could not get rid off for so long. They washed right out with my spin brush and cleanser. Words can not Express the happy tears that literally ran down my face. Cant wait to see what my skin will be like in a month from now. THANK YOU TWO SO MUCH FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART....!

Hii! I can suggest choosing products that contain niacinamide or BHA to help reduce the appearance of pores and lighten up hyperpigmentation caused by acne. One of the go-to products Felicia loves for her pores is the Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant! If you're new to using BHA, I highly recommend starting a few times a week to help your skin adjust and gradually increase use depending on your skin. And as always, don't forget to apply sunscreen in the mornings!
