my brother-in-law found a dog chained up in West Palm Beach in a yard next to a house we were working on. we took him some water over and got a better look at the situation and there was a big lock on the chain so I told my brother go to my truck and get the bolt cutters. we freed that rascal and took him home he was my brother‘s best friend for seven years. our rescue was as skinny as that one

Lynn, I couldn't agree more. I have a dog I adopted when she was almost 2 and now she's 9, and spoiled rotten. She is my heart ❤️ and the love she returns to me is beyond words. Dogs are so very special, and I'm firmly convinced that rescue dogs know they are truly special, and they are!

I work in rescue and I’ve seen many emaciated dogs that we have to nurse back to health … But bully breeds, because of the short coat, you see every rib. Their skulls seem to shrink. But once you get some weight on, and that will happen, they fill out so beautifully! *_Thank you for all who adopt, rescue and foster!_* ❤️🐾

Of course the food and drink made the difference with his health, but the love he got gave him the will to fight back ❤️ Having nursed a dog in a similar condition (he was in pounds what he should have been in kilos - 36, plus he had mange) back to his proper weight and overall health, I know how much hard work goes into encouraging them to eat, especially if they've gone that bit too far. But love wins the day, and he was our baby's protector 10 months after we got him. It was worth _every_ ounce of effort. Just as you see in the video - food, water and a dry bed saved him physically, but love pushed him to save himself by eating, drinking, and feeling safe enough to sleep. Wonderful people take these lost souls in regularly and I admire them 100%. I wish every good thing to come to them 💞

There are rescue shelters, if you are unable to care for your pet. Thank you to everyone who took care of him and made him healthy and happy again. I watch these videos everyday. I am 6”3 and when i was homeless i weighed 153 pounds. When i see these videos it reminds me of when i came off the street and found my joy again after quitting drugs and accepting love that people showed me. I still have issues, but i have my forever home now. I absolutely love those videos and please don’t stop posting them, it makes me so thankful.❤
