@@alisashohat6368 In Series 7, as an early adult, she describes vaguely with no name, about a boy she found in NYC, presumably Sid. They lived together for a while but then eventually broke up. If I'm being honest, Sid and Cassie were never meant to stay together. They both had issues of their own, which usually tended to eventually exacerbate the emotions of the other.

I remember I started to watching this show after my boyfriend broke up with me, I was so depressed, and every time I watched Skins I felt there was something beautiful in my misery. Now I can't watch this show anymore because it reminds me the way I use to feel, and all the pain comes back. But I still love this show, is a deep part of my soul.

It's actually so amazing how many of these skins stars became really successful after skins ended. Nicholas Hoult in the x-men series, warm bodies, jack the giant slayer, etc. Kaya Scodelario in Maze Runner Dev Patel in slumdog millionaire although that was during his last seasons in skins it still won him an Oscar Jack O'Connell in Unbroken working along side freakin Angelina Jolie Even Kathryn Prescott getting her own show on MTV Finding Carter It's rare for a tv show to have that many actors become rather successful after the show has ended. It seems like skins gave them good platform to build off of. I'm really proud of everyone.

Season 1 and 2 were an absolute master-piece, the relatable plot, great script and acting, as well as great openings. Will never forget spending a whole summer watching the first generation, one of the best times of my life! Will always love Skins!

I was 14 when I first watched Skins. I watched it at a friends house, we used to go to his because you could smoke indoors. We’d meet up practically every night and sit around taking photos, laughing and smoking (we must’ve been absolutely stinking, thinking perfume would cover the smell from our parents 😂). When the first episode came on and the music started I can still remember the feeling I got! It was excitement and nostalgia all at once. Like a big endorphin hit. I think because I was just starting to grow up, hanging with friends, drinking etc etc, I somehow knew this time of life was going to change everything. That also included meeting boys and hearts getting broken unfortunately. This music just embodies something beyond words for me, and it’s nice to read so many people feel the same.

If you grew up with this series (in your teens) it's such a nostalgia trip watching it back. The music, the style, fashion, cars, phones, TV's, tech. Everything you see in that show is all part of our era. And it doesn't half make me realise how fast time has gone. I miss the days of going to college, with a tight group of friends and getting smashed at each others houses. It really brings me back. What an era ❤️

In my teens I had this group of friends and one time we were out until sunrise, walking home all fugged up, not saying a word. There was a scene like that in the series and I instantly associated it when I saw it. Every time I heard this intro (season1) , the memories of that night come back to me. I'm the only one who started watching this show for the first time now? I remember trying to watch Skins back around 2013 when I was 15 but I hesitate because I thought it was a lame show that portrayed in a bad way teens troubles. Now I'm a 22 years old adult who's slowly looking for her path in life, and watching this show completely for the first time was a rollecoaster of emotions, because most of the issues the characters face I lived them in my 15-18. Watching this show now feels like giving a hug to my younger self who suffered as other people her age, and because since adulthood, I haven't seen my friends from secondary school in a while, we still hang out but our hangouts are way different that they were back then. We no longer go to parks to chill all day enjoyning life, or to friends party and drink all night, everything it's so serious now. Watching this show felt like I was transported back to those days. I felt in love with the cast from the first generation, they remind me to me and my friends back then (I specially felt attached to Sid and Cassie, both because I was a ankward social girl who had eating desorders, and their relationship reminds me to one I had back when I was 17). I'm not really sure what I was looking when I wrote this, it feels more like something I needed to let out. Thank you Skins for holding so many teens who where struggling with their problems back then. I hope those who grew with the show are doing great now as adults. :)
