Totally bro. He threw that interception aka the worst play of Super Bowl history. He takes being a leader seriously, will protect his guys and he must've felt HORRIBLE after that. They say the Seahawks gave away the game bc if that interception didn't happen, we would've won. Russell Wilson was (I'm sure) was in great pain but the dude went up, answered as best he could, and even owned up, and took responsibility. That's character, right there.

+BeautifulDreamerK I think that was a very good play. Every tream in the NFL knows that Marshan was going to run it in, the first time it didnt work. so they tried to trick the patriots with a pass, but it was just an outstanding job by the pats defense for getting that pick. Good call, but a great defensive effort.

I think hearing it from Deion was the best. He was a player known for his celebratory, clowning around attitude and high stepping in the endzone. He's been there done that. He knows what it's like to lose in big games, and handle himself in the public eye, and he knows what scrutiny comes for players who like to play around and have some fun while getting titles. He had that balance, and he had the charisma and the humility to understand how his actions and his persona would appear to people at home watching the game and the press conferences. So when he's saying that it's unbecoming of the man just named the season's MVP, and will probably be number one overall best player of the 2015 season of the top 100, I'd take it to heart.

Hello from the present. Cam didn't "learn from this" and his career fell off a cliff after this loss. His last postseason win was the championship game that sent him to this Super Bowl. The former 1st pick and MVP was pretty much done by the age of 30 when Carolina got rid of him. Then he went back a year later and went 0-5 as a starter. If anyone can be a former MVP and a bust at the same time, it is Cam Newton.

It's a growing and learning experience for Cam. He often touts how he doesn't care what people think of him.... He better start caring. This is the NFL! @TheForeverAthlete

I guess where I was going with this, back then. Was that they lost by 14, one turnover does not equate to losing by 2 Touchdowns and only scoring 10 points. Yes, he goofed by not jumping on that 1 fumble. But what about the rest of the game, they scored 10 points. He got sacked like 5+ times and hit another 10+. Bruh got his ahh whooped that game, this is why they say they only remember the bad. The Broncos D that game, hit him more than any QB has ever been hit in a Superbowl since the 85 bears. When I said they gave up, I'm pretty sure I was talking about the whole game they scored 10 points. He may not have jumped that one fumble I think it was the 3rd or 4th, but what about the rest of the game. What about before that play happened, if they followed his lead to quit at the end of the game. Then how come the offense got completely trashed and shutdown. The first half of the game, can't just look at one play. Everyone always blames the QB he's not the only one on the field. What about the Wrs that got manhandled by Aqib Talib, didn't he literally take an interception from a receivers hands. Or Von miller But cam gave the game away, nah the whole team did.

I sound like Marshall Faulk when I'm trying to defend Cam. There isn't really a good reason for him to walk off. But you have to understand what he's feeling and what kind of person he is or at least try to cause I've never met the man. But the Panthers will be back and Cam will do better.

+sedcdf It's gonna be as tough as its always been. What magical event is gonna suddenly gonna make the NFC that much tougher? Sure they may not go 15-1, but their a good team with a very talented defense. And their number 1 wideout is coming back, if they pick up a good number 2 in free agency then they'll be back.

Marshall Faulk sounds like a broken record. So what if this is his first SB lost? Doesn't matter if you lose 1000 times, you still sit at that podium and answer the questions like a man, like the MVP SHOULD. Yeah he is going to be criticized no matter, but now folks have an EXTRA thing to criticize him about OFF THE FIELD. Its all about just showing face especially when you're the face of the franchise and potentially the face of the LEAGUE. Everybody knows you're going to be in a shitty mood. Doesn't matter if Cam is "different" from Brady, Brees, Manning etc, there is a certain standard we hold MVPs too and Cam failed the test and showed his true colors after the game. Wheres the dab now?

When you look at it, he was pretty much done after this loss. That cowardly fumble damaged him. No one feared Cam after this game and by the age of 30 his career was pretty much done. Unofficially done, but he was a non-factor. The injuries piled up due to his style but he also lost the intimidation factor he had in 2015.
