The 1998 run was MJ's most impressive title run because that team was running on fumes. They wouldn't have won it the following years. Scottie missed 38 games. Kerr missed like 32. Rodman was on his last legs.

Jerry Krause has been dead for 3 years but we shouldn't make him the scapegoat and antagonist to all this. The 1994 Bulls still won 55 games with Pete Myers replacing MJ as the starting shooting guard! Pete Myers! 🤣

@@nmbmemphisbeast3690 The 80s Celtics and Lakers were stacked teams. In the first 3peat, there was MJ, a developing Pip and Grant and John Paxson. So that's one superstar, one kinda all star and a bunch of role players. In the second 3peat, there was MJ, Pip, and Rodman and Kukoc and a bunch of role players. So you had an aging MJ and Rodman (and Rodman didn't even look to score much), an inconsistent and sometimes injury hampered Pippen, and a bunch of role players. @@marcamico5254 I mean not really because when you take away 1984-1998 for the Bulls they have literally accomplished nothing. I want to say they have 1 or 2 conference finals appearances and that is it. If you remove the Bird years from 1979-1992, the Celtics still have 14 championships, and even if you wanted to make the ridiculous argument of ignoring everything pre 1992 which is close to 2/3 of league history, the Celtics have a championship, 2 finals appearances, and 6 conference finals appearances since that point. Jerry Krause cost the Bulls 5 or 6 more rings in the 2000’s because with Phil leaving to The Lakers Kobe could have been a Chicago Bull having an extended version of MJ in the near future for the organization of Phil Jackson career had they kept him & Jerry K understanding his role keeping his mouth shut. Just think about it Kobe and Shaq could have been Bulls. Then missed another shot adding Lebron, Wade, Carmelo at the tail end of Kobe’s era which could have been even more rings on top. I mean a total of 15 NBA championships through the 90’s, 2000’s, & 2010’s if not more. Bulls are the dumbest organization to let Phil Jackson go. Bulls could have been the New York Yankees of the NBA.

Michael Jordan jumps and dunks sideways during a game, elevates and stays in the air a bit longer, shoots his jumpshots and fadeaways with a different flair and with impressive accuracy. He's not from Earth, he's just an impressive being, and he's the Greatest Of All Time. Thank you MJ for the best NBA era the world has ever seen.
