@@sly11benal7 floyd is an all time great ranked much higher in boxing history than mcgregor is in mma history. Secondly, floyd was able to keep fighting bc he’s one of the most intelligent fighters ever so he wouldn’t take too much damage in his fights unlike previous fighters who after their fight careers had problems due to the damage they took fighting. As a result, he wasn’t really getting punched like that whilst getting those millions- floyd either dodged, deflected, or rolled with most of the punches he faced whilst mcgregor has taken significantly more damage in his fights. Plus with mma there’s a lot more to worry about than boxing and as your mma career continues fighters even the greatest mma fighters of all time take much more damage than mayweather did in his fights.

McGregor just doesn’t have the gas tank needed to be dominate in the 155 division. He was knocking out guys easily in the 145 division because he was fighting in a weight class that was too small for him. He won the 155 title against Eddie Alvarez who is a small 155 fighter. If he can’t get someone out of there in the 1st 2 rounds he’s in trouble. He did pace himself and barely got by Diaz in their 2nd fight. He clearly was the more skilled striker than Diaz and in both fights was destroying Diaz the 1st round and a half. Then fatigue starts kicking in and he’s not the same. If he had the endurance to go hard for 5 rounds he could be dominate in the 155 division. However unless that changes every fight will either be him knocking his opponent out in the 1st 2 rounds or him most likely getting finished in the later rounds. The last fight against Portier he got knocked out and got destroyed with calve kicks so we didn’t really get to see if his endurance has improved. Also I think that’s why he has changed his style from the karate based footwork with odd angles to more of a boxing stance. His original style is almost impossible to maintain for 5 rounds. I’m a casual fan so anyone else who’s an actual fighter or has better knowledge please chime in and let me know if I’m accurate or not in my analysis.
