The raccoon clip reminded me of when I was hiking in one of Utah's state parks with my dad, my younger brother, and my younger cousins back when I was 18. We had stopped to wade in this like really beautiful river part of the hike (The trail was called The River Walk or something) and after we were done I sat down on this wall with one of my cousins in order to put my shoes and socks back on and as I was doing that, a big grey squirrel scampered out in front of me, stopped and just started staring at me. And I, in the middle of putting my sock back on, froze and stared back. This continued until the squirrel, for whatever reason, decided to climb up on the wall beside me, reach out tentatively with its hand, and tap me twice on the leg. And when that happened, I turned excitedly to my cousin and said to her, "It's touching me! It's touching me!" which scared the squirrel away. We finished putting our stuff back on, caught up with the others and I excitedly recounted what had happened to them.

You gotta get gators or crocs to chomp down on something because their bite force is über crazy but their opening strength is baby weak. So once they’ve chomped, you can much more easily restrain and relocate them without being in as much danger.
