Skoda boss talks compact SUV, EV plans, Octavia & Superb return I @odmag

Skoda India aims to introduce two new SUVs in the Indian market, including a sub-4-meter SUV and an EV. We caught up with Skoda Auto India Brand Director, Petr Janeba to know more about these plans.

Kyroq sounds better than Kwiq. Kwiq sounds like Kwid 😅 But Kyroq has a T-Roc vibe to it. So in my opinion Kyroq is more aspirational.

Let Skoda 1st find solution forvthe EPC problem.Two of my friends bought Skoda Kushaq in Oct 23 and Nov 2023.Both of them reported that the EPC lights up for some seconds while driving.Skoda service center identified the problem as High Pressure Pump in both cases but took 4 to 5 days to source and replace the pump.Is this premium stuff?

Price your car competatively because even tata has 5 star rated cars under 10lakh yes their is no dought about your product engine which is reliable but you cant expect people to buy your product just because it has skoda badge when you price 1 or 1.5 lakh more than segment leader Nexon.

They need to price their car more reasonably! They are not premium brand not in Europe or wherever they are sold, only in India they price themselves as premium which they are not! Skoda needs to be realistic & price themselves more reasonably! Notwithstanding thier recent sale improvement, that's just temporary not a continuous sign of things to come for Skoda! No wonder both VW & Skoda aren't selling much.

Dear skoda, please dont dilute yourself to hyundai and tata level if you cant price your products similarly. Or maintain your premium status by offering real premium cars like octavia and suberb. There is no point in selling mediocre cars with 3 cyl engine at premium price point just by launching variants like monte carlo, elegance etc.
