8:50 VRS - stands for Victory (in) Rallye Sport. Skoda is a very successful competitor in the world rallye championship and the VRS-cars are the sportiest trim in Skoda brand. Thank you Björn for this 10 hour drive.

it’s actually just skoda RS. RS for rally sport. UK is the only market, where the swoosh logo is read out loud, as “v”, because of a ford lawsuit.

This is the new chemistry battery - called Cell Module ”K”. Hence the max capacity is around 77-78 kWh plus charges like a boss and rarely requires pre conditioning - perhaps more cobalt 😂

I have a 85x Sportline since march and I'm absolutely loving it. Already 10k km on it and roughly 190Wh/km on average with a good mix of City and Autobahn (with target speed of 130km/h).

This car is looking really nice, compared to VW ID cars. This design is just more to my taste. They use lot of fabric on dashboard, stitching, great seat. Lightbar is maybe too much "blink" but still... and as always great test Bjorn... I am considering EV in 2025 and will wait for Tesla Y Juniper and if not good I will go for Enyaq

try to rent M3 for a week in a europe with lot of roundabouts you are goint to have seizures when chasing the correct button for turn indicators on a upside down wheel. sadly Tesla is in my eyes disqualified until they come up to their senses and offer normal stalks...at least as an option :/

Was mostly on D. B was on when shooting video because it regens stronger. Using B or D is irrelevant for consumption as long as ACC is on which it was 99.9 % of the time.

24:34 I totally agree; poor utilization. I really hope they listen to you and implement your feedback. The car should be in the correct 🎨, preferably by choice, especially if you wrap your car. But I think they don't have animations due to cheeping out on the infotainment computer, as they are pretty much all legacy car makers, which is a horrendously bad and straight-out stupid budget option. The car feels old and has a lot of restrictions straight from the factory. Its like with my Volvo XC60 Recharge, the infotainment storage was so small I could not download new maps material in the xxx Euro in-car navigation in a 650k EUR car; you were forced to download it on a Windows computer and install it from a USB stick. Guess what? I have a MacBook, never once used the in-car navigation due to this User Interface flaw 5 I estimate the larger storage would cost Volvo two 2️⃣ EUR/car. I am returning the car now after 3,5 years with the original maps. I even asked every service appointment if they could do the update, and every time, I got a big f-ing NO!

One question to @bjornnyland, no very Skoda related, but efficiency related. For when a range test of Tesla Model Y LR RWD? Big battery, single motor, and looking at the excel in the end of the video, seems that still the crossover Model Y, is more efficient than this brand new Enyak. Only out of curiosity. 😊

This is a useless test, my 2021 model 3 can do the same, in fact it can do better: with a speed of 85-90km/h I drove 356km with 11.4 kwh/100km consumption and used 58% of the battery, which gives me a theoretical range of 613km full charge however I would argue it's unnecessary since one rarely drive this much distance outside a highway. The stat that really matters is the highway range.

Model 3 is much smaller car so providing any stats from that is useless just like you said. If you compare 2 EV together those have to be similar size and model Y is better size wise. I barely drive highway so for me that is most useless stat.

@@mr.wizeguy8995 I am not comparing two vehicles, just gave an example that other cars can do the same... My main point was that it is pretty much unnecessary to test the range of an EV except on a highway because almost all long-range commutes are happening on a highway with at least 120-130 km/h speed. Doing any test with less speed is pretty much redundant. This was my point.
