Thanks to your guidance, I was able to fix many issues with the car, and I even managed to install cruise control, automatic lights, and heated seats all by myself. I'm really proud of what I've accomplished, and it's all thanks to the valuable information you shared on how to take apart panels, the dashboard, and other components.

wow, that is great to hear. You should share your knowledge on how to do do those things - others would love to do those too! Did most parts come off one donor scrapped vehicle?

Wow, the UK version of the cap doesnt have lock? Anyway, yesterday I got to a gas station and guess what… I swear it happened multiple times, everytime something breaks on my fabia, you release a video about it in like next 3 days😂
@mbplove3 ай бұрын
Depends on the model. My 2001 doesn’t have the pull tab to release, the door is always open but there is a lock on the filler cap.

Same problem a couple years ago in my Fabia. Solved it with a diy solution. It worked. However the same diy solution did not worked in my wife's Chevrolet. It will need the pro solution. Cheers.

Now hatboyharvey I thought you would have used the new pins old chap😁
@HatBoyHarvey2 ай бұрын
Thought about it, but the pins seem tight, but fiddly and very tiny. Pushing them out half way out carefully ensures you don't loose them. If they are loose then yes replace, but IMHO no need :-)

Enjoyable video as always. The bloody thing never falls between your feet, no no, always shoots underneath the car:P Is that rope ebay replacement or something? It is not listed on Skodaparts, only the complete cap can be purchased

Hi I've got a skoda fabia 2007, I just wondered if you had some advice for me, once the bad weather arrives ie winter my carpet in my foot Wells is soaking wet I have cleaned out the scuttle drain etc..but I can't seem to find where it's coming from every winter my foot wells are soaked any idea
@HatBoyHarvey3 ай бұрын
Tha fabia suffers from this unfortunately, mostly with the rear footwell, but has also been known to be seen in the front. In most cases, almost certain It comes in through the door top window seal, drips down the panel and bridges the bottom seal and into the well. Solved by re-sealing the inner metal panel seal at the bottom. Have a look @kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZoHNmaKLZsx4rc0

Thankyou mate appreciate it. Fantastic advice I'll get on it straight away, keep up the great work and keep the shows coming by far the best on youtube

Hello, I have a Skoda Fabia 1 1.4 AME, when driving all 4 locks constantly click, I have already changed all the locks, nothing helps, can you advise.
@HatBoyHarvey2 ай бұрын
Look at the wiring for chaffing and the connections behind the rubber bellows and on the A pillar and going into the doors starting with the drivers side. Also make sure your batteries are both good - car and fob. Clean and re-seat the connections behind the drivers door panel

Oh wow mine don’t have the strap lol I normally take cap off and put it on the pump
@HatBoyHarvey3 ай бұрын
You could easily knock it off to roll across the garage forecourt and under a builders truck full of porta-loos. A strapped cap saves you the embarrassment of rescuing it from such situations :-)

I have a problem with my Skoda, it is the same but with 1.4 gasoline, when it reaches normal temperature and I turn it off it does not start until it cools down, and the temperature needle drops to the minimum, and when it cools for about 10 15 minutes it starts a little badly and the needle returns to its place.
@HatBoyHarvey3 ай бұрын
I would check and change the spark plugs as they may be incorrectly adjusted, failing or oiled up. Check coil packs for ohm readings correct. Fuel pump failing

@@HatBoyHarvey Why something to do with the camshaft sensors or temperature sensor, crankshaft position?
