About the door protectors. I have them on my Ford Fiesta, called the "Door Edge Protectors". In the 4,5 years I have driven the Fiesta never had any troubles. In my Fiesta the mechanism works with some rod from the inside of the door touching the bodywork near the hinge, being pulled in when the door closes which will pull in the door protector.

Very good review of the Scala. The 4 cyl 1.5ltr engine seems the better option with the DSG box. It's interesting to note that this Monte Carlo version is still fairly comfortable at speed and around built up areas, one of the best reviews I've seen of this car. Excellent.. It looks really good with 16" alloys where the tyre has plenty of sidewall.

I know, a pretty cool little car. It doesn't make sense in higher versions, but a huge trunk (larger than in some SUVs) plenty of space in the back (again - more than in crossovers) and very pleasant handling make it really nice to use.

41.500 € is ludicrous for Scala.

Keep in mind, this is basically maxed out. Cars have increase so much in prices in the past year that It's crazy how some of the "cheapest" cars from a couple of years ago are now looking at prices one would have never expected
