One thing I love about your builds is that you make them accessible for everyone. You not only offer free templates, but you use tools most folks have or can easily get, and if you do use something not everyone can afford (like the airbrush) you suggest other ways to accomplish the look. And you always say "This is my version, but you go ahead and make it your own." You don't rush, you don't skip steps, you explain what you're doing and why. I'd gladly take classes in prop building if you offered them.

I absolutely love your work, props, and channel. I do have a HUGE question though: I know when "sanding" HD - Foam/EVA foam with a Dremel tool, wearing a filter mask is a MUST, however, is the filter mask necessary when cutting the foam with a box cutter and/or Exacto Knife? I never really thought it would be just as important because it's not kicking up particle "dust" as sanding would. Please advise. Thank you.

No just cutting it wouldn't require a mask, but you are correct when sanding, heating, or using contact cement

@@SKSProps Thank you for your response. One more question, if I may ask: Do I need a HEPA shop vacuum to vacuum up the foam particle dust, or would a common shop vac do the job effectively? Sweeping just kicks up the dust without disposing of all of it. What do you use, and what would you recommend? Thank you.

How did you keep the plastic from not fogging up from the instant glue

I only add superglue around the very bottom. any part that would fog is well inside of the pumpkin. Perhaps you are using to much glue because I've never had any of my eyes fog up

How would you handle opening and closing the pumpkin as seamless as possible to pop on/off such an EVA foam pumpkin as a mask? Or just make a big enough hole in the bottom and hide that somehow?

I haven't looked back! I enjoyed working with the real pumpkins but I really like the fact my foam ones last year after year and I can take them to conventions 👍
