How to Carve a craft Foam Pumpkin DnD Beholder tutorial using a Foam Pumpkin, EVA foam, and Foam Clay. In this video I go over all of the steps it takes to fabricate your own craft foam Beholder Pumpkin. From cutting the pumpkin using a hot knife to sculpting on additional details using EVA HD Foam and Foam Clay. I also show how I painted this pumpkin using Liquitex heavy body acrylics and FX paints. Plus one of my favorite steps is showing how to make some awesome monster eyes using christmas bulbs and foam clay.

I'm so wanting to to go get that door decoration with the opening eye on it now A few of them take em all apart and use the eyes. And make this beholder as you have. Just use those eyes to give it some animation. Seems like a wiring nightmare atm but still the concept is a neat effect. Awesome build

@SKSProps have you tested the plastidip on the bulb plastic? You might not need to mask the eyes as the plastidip will work as mask and peal right off as long as it doesn't react to the plastic

Thank you for this awesome tutorial. How do you get the round indentation to stay on the eyeballs? I had to press several times as they dried throughout the day, but the indentation kept disappearing- thoughts?

If your referring to the pupils I drilled those down with a forstner bit after they dried for a day
