Stopping dashes mid dash is what made it op. Before Akali can dash through it she just get stunned now you can’t you’re literally stuck there the entire duration if you don’t have blink. Merc threads is literally useless with such a big CC with the addition of glacial augment. Just think of it now as a Inf Scaling AP skarner that forces you to go QSS and that’s not even enough most of the time.

@@Buecherregale I didn't say the skill is OP but the addition of stopping dashes is. All meta champs at the moment have dash for mobility. Only a few of them have blink, with this skill you literally can stop a hec ult, malph ult, and any sort of engagement that requires you to dash. Add the fact that those ults are 30-60 sec cooldown minimum while your huge cc control and zone control is only 10 sec idk the exact but way less than the ult cd. Honestly, I don't want that removed from veigar but rather remove his passive leave him as a cc control mage rather than have infinite scaling then have probably the best utility in-game in addition to access to a utility runes that improve utility items that is cheap. His build literally right now is so cheap while still having enough AP to burst people due to his passive. Which is purely disgusting, one may contradict me by saying just choose a no-dash comp and go blink comp. But tell me any comp that has a lot of blink than dash. How does one get to access the backline when your choice is either get bursted or cc'd. People will say how is this OP it's not even utilized well in rank or I beat this in ranked and something like that. Right now in pro, veigar will be so overpowered since to make this really work a very coordinated team is required that know what they have to do.

Maybe SKT afraid of taking on RNG in best of 5 games. SKT > RNG for now but RNG is a threat that can burn SKT momentum in best of 3. So when the threat is there and a chance to eliminate them early, why not do it hard. RNG probably pissed off on what SKT is doing against them.
