New copypasta fresh: I won one match and he left? Ya'll got no spine, you know that? Ya'll got no spine. It's my second day playing against human beings - I beat you after 5 games and you quit on the first loss! Up to this point in Skullgirls, I'm like one and a hundred n' twenty. I've been playing EVO champions, EVO finalists, tournament winning players - you guys take ONE LOSS and you just leave!? That was my first win! You've got no spine. That shit is like a Mortal Kombat fatality - I got to reach through and rip it out with one hand.

Use your assist to lock people down. That helps cover you during the mix. That SquigBand player used beat extend to catch your jumps, the Parasoul/Eliza player used butcher blade to lock you down. You were doing super well with the Peacock player. Peacock just blows up assists, because she's bullshit (I'm kidding, she's fine.) Love the vids man. Keep it up.

Hate people that will happily shit on you for hours only to quit as soon as you take a game. Those people make it hard to find good sparring partners near your skill level and are obviously in it only for the ego boost from stomping noobs and/or obsessing over whatever ranking system their preferred game has rather than getting an actual challenge.

Hey Sajam, you should make a tier list of your favorite fighting games of all time and talk about why. It would be great to hear your perspective on what makes a fighting game enjoyable and potentially shine a light on games that you think should get more love. Also it’s more content. The chat sounds extra annoying during this stream. I get it's because Sajam needs a set-up for everything and he's still early in learning, but I would've liked to see a lot more meter usage. Supers in this game are really easy to use to extend combo damage, and Double's Catellite Lives (head summon super) can be used freely to extend and improve her pressure options.
@stickytim644 жыл бұрын
I barely play skull girls anymore, but gosh do I love Filia. Such a fun character and I love the mix between mawile and venom
@VinceOfAllTrades4 жыл бұрын
It's crazy how fast you're picking this game up. I was motivated to start playing when uploaded the first vid of this series went live, put way more time in than you have (in this vid) and can barely do 2 BnBs and don't understand the neutral at all. My muscle memory's basically only built for the BnBs so even altering a single button for a reset opportunity feels really unnatural and difficult (see the complaint about Double 2M2M sprinkled throughout this vid and the last). At some point in these matches someone in the chat says "It's easy to pick up characters" and I can't disagree more with that statement. Every character's basic combo routes and movement options are completely different.

It’s prob easier to pick up dif characters when you’re already familiar with the game

12:52 Ironic how the first person you won vs was called Ultimate Victory. Also, you had a lot of meter left over when you won, maybe spending it would make the W easier (saying maybe because I'm a newb but I did notice that).

What are those two lights - red and green - next to the super meter counter?
@Ninja-The-Red-Shinobi4 жыл бұрын
those are your assist ready lights. once you use it in a combo the light turns red preventing you from calling out an assist until you go back to neutral [yes this prevents you from using two assists if you have a team of three] If you use the assist during neutral the light will change back to green when your assist is off the screen.

Any tips on how to get Big Bands “Take the A train” consistently? I always end up walking backwards
@josephsherby4 жыл бұрын
I think down-backing also counts as holding back. That way, you just crouch in place and still get to charge the back input.
@ilexyellowdog4 жыл бұрын
In what context? It's a charge move and charge time in SG is 35f (just above half a second) so if you hold back/downback for that time then press forward + K you'll get it every time.

Lex for example doing the move to finish a combo, I never get the input right
