Great drive as always! Congrats. Is there really a benefit with leaning forward on the straighs? I dont really see a benefit withit.

Basically drs, keep your head low to try to not have air hit your helmet too much
@samuelchen62803 жыл бұрын
@@12th.jahlil No it's not exactly drs, at 70mph air resistance is not that big of a factor. Leaning forward takes weight away from the rear axis reducing resistance on the engine. In x30 you can gain about 500 extra rpm on the straight. More RPM=Higher top speed
@NorbergNation3 жыл бұрын
@@samuelchen6280 yeah that the mean reason. I wouldn’t say 500 exactly but it does help more for that than wind resistance

What goes into the decision on why Cicero gets the power for one weekend vs another driver?
@NorbergNation2 жыл бұрын
There’s no such thing. We all get power every race.

SKUSA or a competitor needs to claim Norberg's motor. I used to have a so called "magic" KT100. Perfectly legal. But one of those rare perfectly made motors that produced more HP than any others. I used to work for Emmick and CKS back in the day. They both had several of these types of engines. And would never sell them. SKUSA has a rule for claiming motors to try and keep things fair. Not saying Norberg intentionally cheats. Or to take away from his driving and set up abilities. But in todays' so called spec classes. No one should really dominate a class like that.
@NorbergNation2 жыл бұрын
I think since that video was posted I've had 3 engines claimed by the series
@badgumby95442 жыл бұрын
@@NorbergNation Didn't know that. Well, I guess it just comes down to driving and set up then. Good job.
