great run ryan. i had a race monday night at go pro... racing a long time but another "old dog" was there watching me, after leading most of the race one of kart sport drivers knew i was a threat and did a "wide" pass into the bowl taking three karts with him and not allowing me to get back to the lead before time ran out. the "old dog" was jim rogero and he said "you should have anticipated that move with your experience he gave you clues" and jim was exactly right. you're never too old to learn something new in karting and it takes people like you and jim rogero to keep you on your toes. best wishes ryan love the channel -Rink

How much does tucking like that help? I can see you gained quite a bit in your karts but I'm in just an arrive and drive league (1 step lower than LO206 karts). Also I have seen a lot of people do that forward shuffle on straights. Does this help push or make the kart faster?

My steering feels really stiff, is there something that I can do to make it feel easy to turn?
@ovedach3 жыл бұрын
check that your joints havent locked up (just change for new ones its not that costly) ... the eye's can really jam up. Also the steering rod, make sure it not way to tight on top of the gasoline tank. and if its a setup thing... there are several tings you can try: less caster, less width, using the holes closer to the steering rod (ackermann, this significantly changes the radius of what the kart likes to turn, so be aware) last option to also try is a softer or harder bar in the front of the kart. ....... oh... yeah, also make sure you got a really big amount of weight on the back axle, since to much on the front will make the kart drive like a mario kart :D so like... 61-66% on the back
