And also Thai people were dumb with naming Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang Airport because literally only Southeast Asian people can pronounce it. BTW yeah the taxi people are scamming whatever “falang”, or people who speak English, because they are foreigners and don’t know what things are usually like. But let's not be too quick to judge and label the Thai people as "dumb" for the names of their airports - after all, they have some pretty tongue-twisting names in English too! As for the taxi drivers scamming foreigners, well, I guess they just can't resist the allure of fleecing a "falang" or two. But don't fret, my friend - there are plenty of good-hearted Thai folks out there who would never dream of scamming anyone. And who knows, maybe with a little patience and a willingness to learn about the local culture, you can avoid any more "bad potato" experiences in the future!
