My Initial thoughts on how sky glass sounds.

I am really impressed with the sound quality to be honest it is better than any other stand alone TV that I have listened to & is a great alternative to a sound bar

Great video bro. When I got my Sky Glass one of the first things I done was go to KZbin and typed in Dolby Vision demo 4K and then clicked on the first video, I put it to 60 volume and I was blown away tbh. I have used a pretty average soundbar in the past but most of the time I’ve used the standard crappy TV speakers so this is defo a huge upgrade. I Wouldn’t attempt to put it to any more than about 60-70% volume because it gets properly loud compared to previous tvs I’ve had.

Thanks for the video. I'm waiting for my Glass TV to arrive. I have two questions, if you don't mind. 1. Do the non sky apps on the Glass platform automatically pick up the speakers can handle ATMOS. 2. Do you have complete control over the TV audio settings on an external source. ie a bluray player. Change presets, turn ATMOS on or off etc. Thank you.

I just had sky glass 2 days ago but notice when you go below about 50% volume it’s goes quite quiet. To listen to normal tv I have to set it at around 40% or more. Is this the same for you?

My 65 inch Sky Glass crackles. Not all the time but its happened on a few channels as well as watching Kong vs Godzilla on Sky Movies. Plus when i put The Conjuring 3 on the sound was out of sync. its 3 days old.

The screaming are a bit echoey I’m worried if we listened to a live concert such as Glastonbury it would be echoing?

Finally someone to mention the sound!!! Also is the brightness decent enough? Might be cheeky but I have a decent setup but with my sound system it’s too big for my room / could you play some music on KZbin from NCS (no copyright sounds) so we can hear - I know it’s cheeky but can play as much as you want without hitting a copyright ban/strike - thank you

Brightness is plenty bright for me. My living room is overly lit at times and let’s in A LOT of sunlight. Peak brightness is between 600-700 so it’s a huge upgrade on my Samsung TU7000 which only had like 400. One thing that not a lot of people know but you have to go into the settings and adjust the brightness by just 1 value and that makes it much brighter, see HDTV tests video if you want to see a more in depth talk about it.

Here's tip when reviewing how a tv sounds say it like this listen to this then shut up don't go on talking for 90% of the clip what's the point it's like short story long just a tip

But unless you're there in person how could you possibly know what it sounds like? You are listening to it through your own device 🤦🏻‍♂️😂 if he wasn't talking/describing how it sounds then there is no way you would possibly have the slightest idea what it actually sounds like unless you were there!

You will need a sub that uses a HDMI input. This tv does not have an optical output.

@@dannythomas8248 No game mode and the picture looks all washed out. For 4K blu rays it looks great. Just not for games for some reason
