Sky News host Danica De Giorgio discusses the “disgraceful” acts of pro-Palestinian vandalism of Australian war memorials in Canberra.
“Take a look at this disgraceful act of vandalism in Canberra - four war memorials near the Australian War Memorial were vandalised,” Ms De Giorgio said.
“Pro-Palestinian graffiti with slogans such as ‘from the river to the sea’ was discovered.”

There is a separate ceremony to be performed, to give up British Citizenship, before such a person can serve in Parliament. That's the case for state and Commonwealth governments. I think it also applies to local councils, though I could be wrong with that.

Just read about the 53rd Welsh division, North West Europe 1944 - 1945...family involved...hand to hand fighting with immense sacrifice to free Europe of the Nazi's. *Moral Authority* I'm curious to understand where modern Australia sources its moral authority from. Clearly it is no longer Christianity (is Islam filling that void?). Who gets to say that, for example, murder or theft is wrong? You may state that it is "common sense", however, common sense varies from person to person and throughout history murder has been tolerated by certain groups during certain epoques. As a person who stands to one side from belief systems, I can still see why a well-balanced belief system is better for society than no belief system, unless it is an unworkable tried and failed system, such as communism, socialism or totalitarianism. So before anyone 'casts jest' at Christianity, and makes fun of the 'Flying man in the sky, who lives on a cloud', please inform the rest of us from which 'Well of Wisdom' should we draw our water? Well Turkiey now has citizens enraged about the Gallipoli campaign that involved New Zealand, Australia, France, and the U.K. 255,000 soldiers were injured on the Turkiey side for a very small amount of Germany soldiers. Turkiey says that Anzac day is a celebration of needless death of Turkiey soldiers and with an oppressesive empire the British and Australia from keeping Turkiey rich and prosperous by huge trade with Russia. Turkiey is a huge immigration country for Palestinians and its basically as popular as Gaza. Palestinians vist the war memorials in Turkiey. Demand the U.K give economic apologies and would not mind if Australia apologized. If Gazans are loose all over Australia then the Anzac day protests and war memorials will be targeted. Remembrance day is seen as more French but France apologizes for everything. Remembrance day can be celebrated as the liberation of France and the fight against nazis.
