Skyhawk & Maxair On Ride POV Cedar Point

Hey Coaster Fanatics, Today I'm bringing you a POV of Maxair and skyhawk. These are two of my favorite flat rides. Maxair is made by huss and is a giant Frisbee model. Skyhawk is made by S&S and is a screamin swing model. Enjoy the ride. Whenever I go on Skyhawk, I’m just waiting for the seatbelt and overhead restraint to just snap and I face plant on the concrete😂 fun ride though

Maxair is cool when you get an inverted view of the park. Skyhawk was surprising fun especially when you're diving downward.

A couple years ago, I went on maxair. It was the same year when I finally went on all the big rides. So me and my friend watched people go on it and decided to go on it during the lunch break. Well obviously WE WEREN’T THERE WHEN IT WENT SO HIGH so we had no idea, it wasn’t bad it was very fun. Just wish I knew it went higher before going on it.

MaxAir was so much fun and i loved it but man....Skyhawk BLEW MY MIND. Hands down the best flat ride not just at Cedar Point, but of all the theme parks i visited last summer (and I went to four others across the country)

I haven't been on MaxAir itself but rode the same ride at kings island. It rained for awhile at the park and everything was closed but this ride. We had the fast pass plus and we rode it almost ten times in the rain. It made the rain feel a bit like hail, but is a great ride that I have never seen closed.

Nice! I love Maxair! didn't get to ride Skyhawk because I lost my car keys on Maverick the second day I was there with a friend haha(way back in 2008). We ended up spending the rest of our last day waiting for the locksmith to get car keys made haha. Hope you are surviving the off season, it last way too long lol. Thanks for posting!

Haha, Thats funny you say that. I lost a phone on maverick in 2008. It was a Nextel, lol. Maverick has been known for steeling peoples stuff. I always keep my keys attached to my belt loops now and i always wear pants with zippered pockets. My offseason has been good. I'm in the process of planning 2017. Thanks for watching. I went to Cedar Point this past summer and Maxx Air was broken. But I could ride Skyhawk and it turned out to be my favorite. I hope I can ride Maxx Air next time I go

CoasterFanatics : I like Delirium at Kings Island better because it actually runs. Maxair seems to be down every time we go to Cedar Point. Either mechanical problems or problems with the wind. Their Windseeker seems to always be non operational all the time too.

Ill ride rollercoasters all day long. These two rides for some reason scare the heck out of me. Not sure if its the lofty time spent up high. Give my fear of heights time to register I am that high up. hahaha. Rollercoasters there are no time to think.

I hate the skyhawk lol. The restraint didn’t feel like it was tight enough, so I felt like I was going to fall out the whole ride. Would definitely be better if the restraints went over your shoulders instead of just a lap restraint.

What would really be awesome if MaxAir went around in a complete loop , I think someday , Somebody will design the ride to do that , Especially with today's technology , And with today's technology , I'll bet they can modify the ride to go around in a complete loop

Skyhawk seems too short. Maxair looks like it would be more heart attack inducing, for me anyway. Last time I was there (forever ago it feels) I wasn't mentally ready for them plus I like coasters more. The last time I was there was back in '06. It's my goal to go back this year since so much has changed and I'm not getting any younger 🤗

I hope you make it back the it's a great place. I actually think skyhawk is scarier even though it's shorter. The restraints on that thing aren't super tight so it is a little scary, lol. You feel safe on Maxair

I've seen these rides popping up more and more often at every part I visit and honestly, I'm not sure I'm happy with these at every park. The frisbees are uncomftorable ,with the exception of kennywood's, and the Skyhawks are ok but their ride cycles are really short :/... Not the best flat rides imo :/

You're very brave actually. I wouldn't even go on slingshot. I have a thing for bungee rides that i don't like. Roller coasters are so much fun and actually very safe in most cases. Face your fears and give them a chance.
