If you use splitsie’s sneaky sounds it lowers the volume of things like tools might be helpful if the tools are annoying but you still want to hear the game

​@@MadMavn Yes, sneaky sounds is great. Or now there's an even better option: the "configuration parameters" mod. It has volume *sliders* for hand tools, as well as a whole whole bunch of other easy to change settings... ore detector radius, jetpack strength, ore density and distribution, maximum speed for small and large grid, etc etc. Fantastic mod. Unsure if it works in multiplayer. (Edit: it does)

@@allmhuran is there a mod to reload only the sounds? I like to play with realistic sounds, but there is this bug that gets the sounf stuck on loop whereever you are, and the only solution is to quit and reload the world...

You can add a landing gear to hold the drills in place, detach the piston head, retract the piston, add a piston in that space, then attach the piston head with the rotor, drills, and landing gear to the new piston you added. Makes deep bores easier a wee bit
