My regards to your dad, and I hope he gets his strength back. Seeing that Black Sabbath album reminds me of my original I bought when it came out and I foolishly gave away back in the '90s when I was gung ho on CDs. I eliminated about half of my LPs, mostly rock since I was into classical. At least I saved my progressive rock like Yes, Jethro Tull and Moody Blues. But I do have a bunch of laser discs with nothing to play them on, lol.

My mom had a stroke 6 years ago that was very substantial. Her rehab recovery was very slow the first month, but was very quick after that point. She practically had a full recovery after about 6 months of rehab. Don't be discouraged if the first few weeks don't seem to be going well it will probably change quickly after that. God bless and you never know, he may in time want to come back a few days a week to keep the classics going!

He did a console turntable repair for me some years ago and still plays great. Still think of him every time I play it; the happy tinkerer! I have learned that when I work on this stuff mostly lots of swear words involved.

We are all pulling for your dad. Love the video. as a kid, I only had the money, or I could only talk the money out of my mom to get 45's. I will listen to my older brothers and sisters of the youngest of five, and they're eight tracks. Xanadu was one of my prize 45 I still have. I saw Xanadu in the theater, and she was an angel, and that whole album was great that I could only afford the 45 at that time. And I have the CD now. I need to search for the album. Another one was the Flash Gordon soundtrack. I still have that I wore it out I saw in the theater when it came out, and it pretty much guided me through life. What would flash do? he would save the universe.

Just finished listening to Airs - Symptones. Forgot I own the CD and have many many hours of listening to and loving this disk. For fun, I looked up the other albumn releases from Air and plan to place them in heavy rotation this week.
