Hi Matt - thanks for the update and your support to the Skylum team. Can I suggest that you could point folks to the daily Skylum Insiders Coffee Breaks as a source of support? Vanelli’s doing a great job at keeping everything ticking along.

nice presentation. 3D transform is a nice feature but I'd prefer having same features than ON1 and lightroom with a "auto" button, keystone, guided modes. I'd also prefer having a shorter develop panel same than lightroom and ON1, with exactly same sliders (vibrance, saturation, black, white, contrast, HL and shadows, dehaze) with a "auto button" for first help in analyzing the scene with AI. then we can go to enhance with accent ai and sky ai, then landcsape golden hour,...

For film shooters using their cameras to scan the film, one key missing element is scratch/dust removal. Some traditional film scanners (Nikon, Minolta et al, long out of production) used an IR channel to quite effectively do this, Any idea if the "dust removal" feature in Luminar Neo would be a solution to this issue? If so, Luminar would have a new market they should target. Thanks for your good words about the devastation in the Ukraine.

That is an interesting question. The AI is trained to see sensor dust, which are typically dark, out of focus, circular spots. But it could possibly pick up and erase some dust you see when "scanning" film. My advice would be to download a free trial version and see if it works as you need it to.

@@MattSuessPhoto It would appear it doesn't remove the dust spots. They show up as dark on the negative sky, but are not removed.

@@Ricardo-SW I had a feeling - but it was worth the try.

Give them extra time and they may make things better in NEO. Even when NEO first released all the so called PROS bashed them before corrections to come were given time to be made.

Please kindly understand the point of a review is to discuss the software as it stands at the time of the review, both good and bad. If some, like myself, were critical of Neo when it was first released it was because we were reviewing what was currently available at the time and we didn't like parts of it. Skylum continues to improve Neo (even now despite the hardships they face while trying to live safely while at war), and many of us reviewers post updates and new reviews to reflect those changes, like I did here. One doesn't do a "review" of things to come - they do a "preview" of things to come kinda like I did when Neo was first announced and not available: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bGHFl5WqlMyDnKM
