I don't remember it too well, but my mom has told me and I remember bits and pieces of when I was 3 or 4 years old, my brother was 2 or 3, her ex-husband took us out into the woods on a "hunting trip". He separated from us, pretended to get lost, and then started hunting us. He told us if we got back to the truck, we would live. He was a very dangerous man, I could list a lot of other horrible things he did to me, my brother and mom, but those would be off-topic. My mom was married to him for 3 years. She'd try to run away but he'd always find us, even states away. This story really hits home, and so does the video.

all music exceed phone speakers as does most bluetooth speakers. if you are shopping for either headphones or bluetooth speakers the frequency range they can pick up make a big difference, also the device playing the music as well. no use spending big money on headphones that go low as 24hz when the phone you use only outputs 56hz for example.

As someone who grew up in the area this occurred (Anchorage & the Matanuska Valley) in the 80's and enthralled by true crime stories and SKYND's ability to capture and retell the story visually and in such a visceral way in music, I am shocked that more people still don't know her. I was obsessed with Butcher Baker-Robert Hansen years before the movie and at one point owned a true crime novel about him. Brilliant work. I would love to see her do a song on Israel Keyes too! Never disappoints 10 out of 10!

What a fabulous early morning surprise! It’s 1:45am here. Totally worth it. How is her voice so perfect?? How does something so beautiful delve into such darkness? I know so many people like who are all obsessed with Dahmer or Bundy, but Robert Hansen is genuinely fascinating to me. I feel so deeply for his victims, known and unknown, and the terror and hopelessness they felt getting on to his plane, having no idea what he’d planned for them. He’s psychologically fascinating; my wife even included a deep study of his brain illness during one of her Ph.D.’s , which is probably why I became so fascinated. It’s a bummer I can’t introduce y’all’s music to her (Deaf) but I’m definitely going to show her the video as an art piece. Brilliant, as ever!
