I'll go out on limb here and say to address recuiting issues with the police, maybe they might look at people who have stuffed up once, did their time and havent stuffed up again. Meaning spent convictions and no new ones. This means 10 years has past since the last conviction. Remember our first constabulary was made up of convicts still serving their time. I just think that people should be given a second chance and not let one stuff up wreck their entire lives. It might solve some issues.
