The skypodcast has really showed how Kryz's maturity skyrocketed ever since she became a mom. It's like she's at her best version and I admire this version of her. I also just realized how optimistic she is and it's amazing! I respect her for her perspective. 🥰

REASONS WHY SKYPODCAST IS THE BEST PODCAST: Very clear audio (their voice sounds soothing and crystal clear kahit walang subtitle) True to life topics (relatable in any age) Engaging to the viewers/listeners They do not just communicate, but they connect with each other too. WISDOM. SO MUCH WISDOM. that's for my opinion tho, you can add more. I love you SKYfam❤❤❤

The point of discussion basically boils down to the nature of the mind being restless and always wanting something, always needing to grasp on things and such is how the mind is. This is being elucidated in Buddhism. It is being observed by sensitives and sages that hermetically speaking, the fire element in the human civilization is so predominant to the point that it always self-drives towards building things, conquering things (Space Colonization) and building technology and infrastructure, which is of course not necessarily a bad thing but it does put a clamp to society as a whole to settle down and live in the now, pause and internalize. It's good that two adults and partners at that is able to freely converse about this topic with gravitas not just about trivial things. I find this video very relatable not to mention candid and makes a lot of sense.

What you guys are referring to is HEDONIC ADAPTATION wherein we, humans, are insatiable in wanting something like a partner, object, material things or etc -- we work so hard to get it but after a while, we lose interest in the object of our desire. Once the desire is fulfilled, we adapt to its presence in our lives and as a result, we stop desiring it. Great podcast! Interesting conversations.

For Kryz to say na, "it's okay, I'm proud to say na Slater cut my hair" is a sign of reciprocation. It shows na even hindi perfect ang pagka cut, she still appreciate what Slater did. I hope couples recognize this thing called "reciprocation".

In this video, I realized that feeling insecure is normal, being pressured is normal. Slater gani maka feel na di sya succesful enough. Unsa nalang ming mga uyamot. Hahahahaha but seriously, feeling this way is ok but you need to not feel this way all the time because God haa better plans for you. ❤️

Listening to this while completing my remaining task. 👍 So relate. Sometimes, I even ask my wife what I should be doing this time. Right then, I realized that I should give my body and mind "peace". It's good to know that there are people feel the way I feel and good to hear their realization.

15:02 this!! What slater said is so relatable!! And i only realized this after I quit social media fb, insta, twitter with my real life friends in it. I was self sabotaging that time, and only after i took a time away from it is when i realized how all the nitpicking was practically reflecting to all my personal insecurities. Realization was the first step, now I am working on becoming better, mentally and being away from social media is the best way possible, I have never felt so connected to myself.

It is so nice noh, you get to talk deeply ba, like a real conversation as a couple. We could really say thks pandemic has given us a chance to give more time and attention to our loved ones. We get to hang out with our family, like the usual routine before digital age. I asked my niece, did you miss your schoolmates? She said yes but it is okay because I am with my family and it is more fun. ❤️❤️

there is actually a term for what kuya slater said about wanting something na super excited siya pero nung dumating na, the feeling na meron siya is not the same nung hinihintay niya yung bagay. it's called hedonic treadmill or hedonic adaptation where in there will be an initial spike of happiness (or sadness) pero pagdating ng panahon, the feeling dissipates.
